Early dinner near Highline

Enjoyed an early dinner with friends before visiting the Highline. Food was good, prices reasonable, service fast and really nice waitstaff and greeters. Excellent meal with the family. First Mexican meal in a restaurant and definitely one to remember. Lots of beautiful people - obviously the place to hang out in Chelsea ;-) Went on the recommendation of our tour guide.

There was a children's menu available - much appreciated. I glad the shrimp Oaxaca special - which was excellent as was the guacamole. Definitely recommend for a casual, Mexican dinner in a fun location.

We came here with a group of 6 friends. I will say that we were delayed getting to the restaurant on a Friday night, but they held our reservations. However, that is where the good impressions stopped. The service was average and so was the food. The drinks were OK, not great. I had their signature Margarita. I was very... More

Best Dos Caminos across New York City. Maybe it’s the outdoor seating, but it makes the experience so much more enjoyable during the right weather.

This NYC Mexican franchise found its way to trendy meat pack district few years ago. I went there with family and we shared tuna seviche and several different kind of tacos . The food was good - we agreed unanimously. The special margaritas are not to be missed. I liked the one with cucumber as an ingridiant - ( not... More

Nice mexican food, but slightly more towards pub/fast-food type of meal. A great place to hang out for a few hours, and there is great service.

This was a pleasant surprise. I agreed to Mexican to please my husband and son. I ordered the herb chicken. I have to say that it was delicious. I can no longer say that I hate Mexican food. My husband and son were both delighted with their food. I also loved the Mexican beer. Will definitely visit again. The dining... More

We enjoyed the guacamole and a big salad for lunch while sitting outside. The waiting staff were very helpful. We came with a baby and they even gave us a free children's portion of avocadoand veggies. When is the neighborhood (near Whitney Museum and Highliner) would recommend

Wonderful location in the heart of the meat packing district. Sit outside of weather permits. Kids meals offer an awesome deal, they loved the build your own tacos and the cheesy quesadilla. Waiter forgot to bring them the included veggie plate and the drink (we forgot and the kids were full anyways). My wife and I shared the 4 varieties... More

I often visit this restaurant in the heart of bustling meat packing district. I always enjoy what I have. The drinks are fresh and the food is Mexican fusion with a delicious fresh flavor. We sat outside on the patio and it was a very warm beautiful summer night. The staff is friendly. Only thing I would recommend is not... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
