Went here for an early team dinner at the end of a day trip to our NY office. The food was good, but the stand-out for me was the fresh guacamole (which was a surprise, since I'm not normally a fan), which was served with some tasty chips. The service was good, though a little slower than we would've expected... More

Unfortunately my experience at this particular Dos Caminos restaurant was not a pleasant one for more than one reason...we were seated in a booth upstairs that had absolutely no light at all so we had to use our phones to read the menu, and see our food. Secondly, the food itself was really nothing to brag about, we ordered the... More

Good service. Appetizers and desserts were very good but fish tacos were average. Decent margaritas. Cool atmosphere

Has lunch at Dos Caminos during my visit to NYC while in the meat packing district. The chips with guacamole were delicious and the mahi mahi tacos I ordered were divine. Would definitely done there again!

I loved Dos Caminos. Sunday night, 10 pm, many restaurant were closed. Walking around Chelsea Market we choose this mexican place for the nice atmosphere. Low lights, not crowded, good music. We tasted different dishes, tacos, ceviche, guacamole, bocaditos de lobster, de chicken, with chorizo and fajitas. The food was well cooked and served. Not expensive. Good experience.

We had brunch here yesterday after walking the High Line. The menu sounded great, but the complementary drinks (frozen margarita and mimosa) were a disappointment as well as their short rib tacos. The hash that came with the omelet did not have any flavoring at all but the omelet was satisfactory. The best part of the meal were the black... More

When we were staying nearby at The Standard, this place was on our radar. An excellent menu with lots of choice. Our selections did not disappoint - the food was tasty, interesting and filling. Good service too. Highly recommended.

Great Mexican food in a great location - diagonally opposite Chelsea Market. Markets as a upscale Mexican and the service and food quality was very good. We had delicious Margaritas and way too much food - we had to walk home to burn it all off.

Our party of four arrived afters a lovely walk on the High line. The hostess, from Albania, was so nice and friendly, making our short wait very enjoyable. We also had a great server, who was from Atlanta. Great food choices and we all enjoyed our meals. The wild mushroom omelet and the guacamole were Both yummy! We would return.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
