Nice, fun menu in buzzing venue with live jazz - great the day we were there - lovely food, (we ate at the bar) and fun staff in quirky environment! Definitely would return here. You can turn up and reserve a table if they are busy and perhaps have a drink while you wait.

I enjoyed the meal we had, I was more interested in trying Marcus Samuelson's food and seeing the vision he created in historic Harlem, and it did not disappoint by any means. Tastefully done and respectful for the area's history and culture. I did feel that there were items that were over priced (hello the drinks), but the food quality... More

We were unsure what to expect on heading down to Harlem for an evening and we had multiple well regarded recommendations to visit Red Rooster Harlem. We were not disappointed. Welcoming service, a warm atmosphere and a diverse menu quickly established this as the ideal choice. My personal favourite was our appetizer – southern deep fried chicken, waffle and maple... More

So we went with our teenager and we all loved this eclectic place. Lunch was $15 for a fried catfish sandwich with homemade chips, coleslaw and pickles. $30 for very tasty shrimp n grits, $19 for a triple decker burger and fries. The deviled eggs were really to die for - do not miss out on them, $7 for 3... More

I celebrated my birthday with my wife at Red Rooster last night. From start to finish the experience was floor less. We had no problem reserving a table last minute at peak time on a Saturday night. The host was welcoming and efficient. Our waiter Ryan was extremely knowledgable when answering our questions regarding the menu. His service was professional... More

We took the entire family to Red Rooster and what an amazing experience! Sure the place was crowded with lots of fun people but I've rarely seen a restaurant where it all blends nicely together - atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff and fantastic food. Things were a bit chaotic when we first arrived and the hostess table is somewhat awkwardly placed,... More

I had wanted to go to the Rooster for a long time, and was excited to dine there tonight. I loved the energy, music, decor, and general ambiance. The staff is helpful, friendly and informed. My food was pretty good (Swedish meatballs). The cocktail was great. One real downside for me is that I felt pushed along through the meal... More

We enjoyed the location, the private salons and the great bands playing there. Very nice staff, superb staging and tasteful setting. The bar (downstairs) provides a great choice of Whisky, Gin & Vodka, some of them being difficult to find anywhere. When it comes to the food, i had high level expectations based on the reputation of the well-known Chef.... More

We were here for dinner on New Year's eve and the atmosphere was fantastic. I'm not sure about the other days in the year but I really liked it. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Prices are exagerated if you think you are just eating simple fried chicken and you pay 27$... wine 8$ per glass. With taxes and service... More
