Still a lot of fun. Band on Sunday was a great night. I would visit again. Note, it feels less and less like Harlem with each trip. Lots of tourists and 'Manhatton folks' hanging out in Harlem. Great vibe. Everyone there to have a good time.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at the Red Rooster. Loved the ambience and our entrees (yard bird and blackened catfish) were very tasty. Our only regret was deciding to share dessert, because the portion was tiny compared to most restaurants.

If you're going there because of the food & celebrity chef, it' a waste of time. Food is just OK! If you're going because of the ambience, go for it. We went for dinner on a Moday night. Why? Because of the live R&B music played on the bar area. And belive me, it was awsome (not for the food)!

I had a business meeting in harlem and decided to finally go to this well known place in harlem and it was certain worth it. The restaurant really is a gem as the location in pretty rough in general and i would certainly get a cab there if you come from further afield. The staff are super friendly and the... More

A few co-workers and I were visiting Jersey City for a conference. It was difficult getting reservations for the Red Rooster but we finally made reservations for 8. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were escorted to our table. I along with several others ordered the Fried Yard Bird. We were extremely disappointed with the meal. The fried chicken was... More

The perfect setting for my milestone birthday celebration. Food, atmosphere energetic and fun. Jazzy cocktails. Good wine recommendation by sommelier. We had a fantastic time. Chicken a must! We went back next day and hit the bar. Samuleson was around. I asked him if we could take a picture. He kindly obliged with a compliment about my being too young... More

The staff were gracious and friendly when I had to change reservations twice due to a short flight delay that turned into a very long delay. It was exciting being there during the World Cup with the bar area turned into a colorful soccer "shrine". The fixe prix lunch menu is a great value. The carrot soup was amazing, the... More

We visited Red Rooster for lunch two days ago and had a fabulous time! The food was great we tried the catfish sandwich, the meatballs and mashed potatoes and the barbecue chicken .... Everything was tasty and fresh... The cornbread and tomato jelly was a surprising combination but I absolutely loved it. They have a wide selection of beers and... More

Seriously the coolest place I have probably ever been to. The music was just too good and the atmosphere was awesome. I didn't eat here, but did have a couple drinks. It was an overall great time! You have to check it out.
