I have had quite a few meals here and every one was better than the last. It is my family's favorite "go to place" for special occasions. Incredible food prepared by an excellent chef and served by a very friendly wait staff. After writing this review I might just have to make a reservation tonight!

Although we have our favorite restaurants, who doesn't; my wife and I are always looking to try a new and different one when the chance comes along. The time was just right the other night when we both just felt like we needed to try something a little different. After reading the few reviews available, and checking out the menu,... More

Everything at this French restaurant was terrific. The outstanding food, ambiance and service made for quite a memorable evening. I had the prix fixe meal, choosing the crab cakes, the scallops and the cheesecake, all delicious. There were surprise the little extras, too (an amuse bouche to start and a tiny cookie after dessert). I recommend this place for a special... More

We had a perfect meal at Soigne. We were a varied group: me and my husband, our daughter and boyfriend and his Chinese mom. I relied on reviews to find a restaurant in Brooklyn where we could celebrate a birthday. We really loved it here. I know it says it is a wine bar but we experienced it as a... More

Wow! What a treat this place is. We were visiting our son and his wife in Park Slope and the four of us had a charmed evening. The friendly, homey, atmosphere belies a superstar in the kitchen. I should have asked the name..but he's listed on FB as Anthony Marzuillo. Maybe he's a twin because he loves "duo's" and we... More

Another reviewer called it a 'hidden gem' but we found it to be hidden, yes, in a residential part, and border edge of Park Slope, but it wasn't quite 'gem-ish'. It's a small, local neighborhood pub-like space, with the bar area basically monopolizing the room (if a sporting event was being viewed on the TV and the bar crowd was... More

If you are in the mood for excellent food and service, then Soigne is a place you should visit sometime soon. Located on 6th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY, Soigne clearly takes pride in fine preparation and attention to details. Management is very responsive to the customer. We have been to Soigne several times and it never fails to... More

This little restaurant is a hidden gem in Park Slope. Off the main street, on 6th Avenue, which is mostly a residential street, Soigne provides some of the best food in the Slope. The chef is generous with freebies such as cold potato soup, gougeres and little chocolate cookies with salted caramel filling. The appetizers and entrees are excellent including... More

We went here post hurricane Sandy, so things were just getting back to normal. Their food is excellent and they have a great wine selection. The atmosphere is a little strange given the menu - I thought it might feel more intimate and romantic. That said, it's nice. My only issue was with the service. I'm assuming they were understaffed... More

I dinned at this hotel with 3 other people who had been there before. It was my first time. My companions had raved about the food and that did not disappoint. Especially delicious and interesting was the duck appetizer with poached egg. However, one problem was that it took almost 2 hrs for us to get our dinner and there... More
