A lovely restaurant with beautiful decor. The service was efficient & professional. The food was delicious. The only negative was they did not make the Chai tea in the traditional Indian way, which we would expect from a restaurant of this standard. Ask for Raoul. The menu is creative. Lamb dishes are exceptional. Ambiance is fantastic. You won't be disappointed.

We ordered the tasting menu but the food was disappointing. The first course has a layer of salt at the bottom and the server forgot to mention that and I tried to eat the entire thing to get the whole flavor and ate a whole bunch of salt. It was all downhill from there... food didnt really have much of... More

Fantastic grand entrance and the ambience was just right. We choose the set menu which consisted of five different courses. The food was a real disappointment the service was grand. Would we revisit, probably not.

What a joy dining at this lovely restaurant with well-spaced tables, a comfortable sound level and attentive staff. The cuisine was authentic. By now, I've tried almost all of the vegetarian dishes and each is expertly seasoned. The suggested wine pairings are always spot on.

I love Indian and this ticked all the boxes. Beautiful interior and a targeted menu. Food was full of flavour. Staff friendly and attentive. Expensive but worth the experience.

We had a strange experience having dinner at Junoon. Obviously, the restaurant had great logistical problems. First we had to wait for quite a while to be seated. Then the food was extremely slow to arrive. At the table next to us, local guests got very upset after not being served for a long time (in the end, they got... More

This is great visit for all of us. specially the chef vikash Khanna is very humble and soft spoken. he actually wins over smile of people visitng. the food is on fusion note , in short basically American indian food. so if you looking for typical tarka type food so don't expect that.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
