Service and food were amazing. We ate in the lounge after a long day in the city and had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. It's not cheap, but it is totally worth it. Great food, great service, great memory. Thank you!

Whilst we were at NYC, our friends took us out to this restaurant for much needed Indian food. We had kids with us so our friends did check whether this was OK. They said they did have an area for kids, so basically not the main restaurant but the bar area where it wasn't too formal. We were seated promptly.... More

While visiting family in New York, I went to Junoon for the first time. I was blown away by the quality of the cuisine, but what has kept me talking about the experience and has brought me back on each subsequent trip was the magnificent wine pairings by the sommelier, Michael Dolinski. Michael has put together a phenomenal wine list,... More

After a long day of sightseeing, we asked the concierge at our hotel to recommend a restaurant within walking distance. He recommended Junoon, and commented that the vegetable dishes were amazing. He was right. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was lovely; even the china was beautiful. By New York standards, the prices were reasonable. Not inexpensive,... More

Let me preface with acknowledging that the excellent staff tried very, very hard to make this a good evening for us. We were a large group. My daughter invited friends who were moving from Brooklyn to Palo Alto the next day to join us for a final farewell. Alas, the husband did not know the dress code and showed up... More

Thoroughly enjoyed this elegant. Indian dinner, everything from the wine list, to the atmosphere, which was very modern, understated, to the cuisine and 'indianized' cocktails (i.e.Mumbai margaritas). I loved the spicy entrees, and the appetizers were small portions enough for two to taste. Service was attentive. Each different server described what he was bringing to the table. Free palate soup... More

Dear Chef Vikas, I had to share this. Went on 17th August for dinner to the much talked about Junoon restaurant (fine dining) supposedly the best in town So here is my experience; - Made a reservation for 5, landed up with 6 and was accommodated. Much obliged. But then was surprised to see that the table was small and... More

Subtracted half a rating because the decor isn't as great, based on the cost. Another half deducted for the bathroom, which was kinda stinky and totally unexpected in such a high end restaurant. P.S.: Our waiting time on a Fri night (without prior reservation) was 2 hrs, but the food was worth the wait.

We were very excited to try Junoon. We had expienced a wonderful evening in Washington DC at a fantastic Indian restaurant and had great expectations from Junoon after reading several reviews. I made reservations for 5 thru open table for my mother, niece 14 , nephew 16 ,my husband and myself. I received a call from Junoon on Friday wanting... More

After disappointing experiences at Tabla and Tamarind in the past, we gave Junoon a shot and were impressed with the five-course non-vegetarian chef's tasting menu. The vegetarian version was also solid but not exciting, but the non-veg (Scallop chaat [cured scallop salad), pan-seared Arctic char with rhubarb puree, duck leg with kale, braised lamb korma, raspberry tart and vanilla ice...
