Our first day in NY we visited Junoon , I loved the experience : the restaurant is spacious with amazing decor , we ordered lots of spicy dishes to share and they were all great , the chef came to our table and explained to us the dishes , the appetizers were delicately spiced as the spicy cauliflower and vegetables... Excellent Decor! The Serving Utensils are very unique compared to other Indian restaurants. Prices slightly higher but well worth the money.

We were excited to try this premiere Indian restaurant on a fun night out in Manhattan. We were seated at a nice table and both felt the ambiance, music and decor were indeed beautiful. We did notice that many of the patrons were of Indian descent and felt that we must be in the right place. However, the food was... More

We ate at Junoon on the "Restaurant week". Had an excellent dinner with a delicious California Albariño wine that worked perfectly with the delicate cuisine. Attentive and friendly service. I highly recommend it!

The food is great but for 25$ you will have to rely on the nun bread and the rice to fill full. By the way there is a great shwarma for 4$ in between 23 st 24 st and 5th in a street stand a much better return for money .

Great meal with varied menu. Great variety of breads rice and main dishes. I had a duck dish which was excellent. The mango laces were delicious. The service was superb. The drinks were high end. Excellent first rate restaurant. Definitely will return.

This michelin rated restaurant has stunning decor, professional staff and has modern take on Indian cuisine. I went in with some friends, having special dietary requirements. While these requirements were promptly met, i expected it to be far more delectable.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
