I heard about this restaurant because of their executive chef Vikas Khanna. I saw Vikas's interviewed by Vir Sanghvi a well known Indian columnist, traveller and foodie. He has been featured on India Men's health front page as six pack chef. I came to know he works at New York restaurant Junoon. But he is mostly now travelling in India... More

It is definitely top 3 Indian restaurant in the city. Good food. Great interiors. I have been to Junoon both for business dinner and social dinner. I would definitely recommend this place

We were 5 adults and 4 children. They made us sit in the uncomfortable lounge as the main dining area is not for kids. We found the food to be very very ordinary. After we had ordered our entree, our 10 month old baby started crying. one of the bartenders came to me and said that if I cannot make... More

The ambiance was great, but the food could have been better. Didn't find anything extra ordinary when compared to other standard indian restaurants. Didn't quite meet our expectations.

this time I went back with some vegan diners. There are many options for vegans and they were far from disappointed. We did stray into dairy at some times but they were sort of philosophical about it. The garlic cauliflower (Lahsooni gobi) is simply amazing as is the eggplant CHAAT. Makes no difference if you are a meat eater--these are... More

I guess when it comes to Indian food i prefer homemade style dishes, with lots of spices and very saucy. this place was very nice, but the dishes i think where a bit to elaborate making them not taste like typical Indian food but something more international. don't get me wrong everything i had was good, which were the PIRI-PIRI... I was lucky enough to get taken here on a Saturday evening for dinner. We didn't know what to expect from an Indian restaurant in New York, but I can barely adequately describe how nice it was. From cocktails in the bar before sitting down through to starters and a wide variety of mains to share between us, it was... More

We were a grp of 10 extended family. Visited this place for dinner. I called them at 3pm to reserve a table. They asked me if there were any kids below 12 and I told them there were 2. They said they have 2 dining areas- The main dining area (MDA) and the Lounge and they do not allow kids... More
