Arguably the best Indian Food in NYC , perhaps the finest list of wines but the place has an attitude. The sommelier Sandeep was superb and very helpful which saved the evening. We had a 9.30 pm reservation. Made us wait . At 10pm when I decided to walk away they accommodated us. Service was indifferent.

Though I didn't eat here, the surroundings were a perfect blend of modern elegance. The bar has a well-stocked array of drinks and cocktails as well as bartenders with the requisite know-how. I will definately return to enjoy the food.

A Restaurant with Ambition! a bit stiff but the Food is worth it. I particularly enjoyed the Starters and had them with the great drinks at the bar. To be recommended if you fancy upscale Indian Food.

Beautiful and sophisticated peaceful decor with excellent food. Great location but come here for quality. While NYC is blessed with good indian restaurants in E. Village and Curry Hill, this one is the real deal. Wonderful chutney sides to accompany the eggplant chaat. And if you can't decide on the main course, go for the tasting menu. You will not... More

I came here with my grandmother, and ordered 6 to 7 appetizers as our meal. We sampled many amazing dishes. Its truly gourmet food, and drink mix are innovative. Overall, lovely experience.

Updated classic tastes and combinations, no loss of authenticity, raised to a new level. Fascinating wine pairings in the tasting menu reflect care and thought. All served with gracious attitude even though we were there on a groupon. Overall lovely experience.

This is truly a gourmet experience with phenomenal food and drinks. the decor was tasteful and the spice mixes were innovative. In the basement, there was a display of the custom mixes of spices they do which was fascinating. As an Indian American, I am usually not interested in eating Indian food in restaurants, usually everything is much better at... More

This is my first time here and I can say the food was unbelievably good, maybe the best Indian food I ate.I orderd a vegetarian tasting menu and it was absolutely incredible, flavorful food. I loved the experience. I will come back soon.

Loved the entire package... food, seating, service and the decor. We were seated close to the open kitchen so we enjoyed the cooking action. The servers were very honest in recommending dishes and also customized the dish for our spice level. The dessert - appricot pudding with green chile ice cream - was creative and left us wanting more.

How this restaurant has a Michelin star is beyond me, The candle lit ambiance is lovely but offset by a loud dining area. And even though we arrived a on time, the restaurant tried to steer us to the bar until our guests arrived. SInce we don't drink (and told them that),we just ended up blocking the area. Once at...
