Fabulous Tapas - fabulous service

Have now been to this restaurant many times and it never fails to please. We have not ventured beyond the Tapas yet but are always well satisfied, from the wonderful bread to the lovely complimentary Port at the end of the meal. The El Mio Cid signature sauce on ANYTHING is a must try. Not a fan of... read more

The bread was great. The appetizer was dry and difficult to cut. I think the sauce was unique but definitely not to my taste. The rice was average.

The boyfriend and I have been coming here for about 3 years now about and they have always treated us like good friends. We've had many great experiences here. The food is always delicious and they have specials now and then to keep the menu fresh. The passion fruit white sangria is our "go to" sangria because it's so delicious... More

I took my boyfriend here for dinner and we had a great time. I picked the place because of the location (wanted to venture out of Greenpoint/Williamsburg) and wasn't expecting to have as delicious of a meal as we did. He had the sirloin steak and I had the seafood platter with green sauce and rice. Both were amazing. Definitely... More

Came here with the bf on a Friday night around 9:30. There were people inside but not overly crowded. We had a restaurant.com coupon, and they were very courteous about accepting it. Coming in with a coupon, you never know how the staff might treat you, but they seemed totally fine with us using it. We ordered sauteed octopus, which... More

The service was a bit slow, but they had delicious sweet bread and sangria. It was downplayed, with a nearly quiet atmosphere, and low lighting. Small serving size; I had to order another plate.

This is Spanish cuisine, not the typical Dominican or Puerto Rican style that you might have thought you were going to have here. The Sangria was not the best I ever had, but it was good. We ordered some of the specials which included a "surf and turf" (grilled steak and whole shrimp) and also a Mixed Seafood in a... More

I come here very often. The staff is great and the food and drinks are amazing. You have to check this place out! And definitely have the passion fruit sangria when you do!

It is simple. Brave Bushwick, Brooklyn for this amazing Spanish tapas restaurant. Don't worry if the door is locked upon arrival...just knock and a waiter will open the door promptly (the neighborhood IS a little sketchy) Once inside, there is ample seating for couples and groups (provided there isn't a huge party there celebrating something - which there was when... This was one of the best spanish restuarants I've been to. I'm no expert but this was lovely. If I was in the area again and wanted Spanish I'd go back.
