Not bad for brunch

Unfortunately, they wouldn't take reservations for our large party but they did recommend that we show up 15 minutes before opening in order to be guaranteed seating which worked out perfectly. The service was alright, the selection was limited as apparently, they were out of several key items but... read more

This Australian bar/restaurant is one of the worst on the west side of Manhattan. The bartenders have ridiculous amounts of attitude even by NYC standards and a diet coke is 6 dollars. There are a ton of better bars on Amsterdam Avenue which is just steps away. Don't waste your time here.

The waiter was super attentive. The food was amazing. I has the hamburguer and it had everything on it. The calamari with kiwi and jalapeño were a great combination, even though it sounds strange it was really good.

I loved the frozen beer taps! I'd never seen them before. It was a dark romantic kind of atmosphere, we did order the chicken liver mousse it was tasty. We were there for drinks and to kill time before dinner. Good place to go for cocktails

Let me be clear from the get-go. You go to this place to drink at brunch. Yes, they serve food, but don't expect......um........just go with it. They give you a welcome shot, and a farewell shot. In between you get unlimited bloody mary's (NYC still has not discovered Old Bay for some reason), mimosas, greyhounds, screwdrivers, and something else I'm... More

These guys don't seem to have any sense for cleanliness. They don't clean their vents stinking up the neighborhood with the smell of grease and burgers. With this attitude, I don't want to imagine what is actually in the food.

The Aussie theme is a unique one. The place is a typical neighborhood bar. Prices were average as well as drink selections. The customers all seemed to be local.

This is one of my favorite bars in the city. It is owned by an Aussie named Heath who owns a couple of other bars... I know one is Bondi Road and another is the Sunburnt Cow. I think everyone that works here is Aussie. The service is great, and the crowd fun. Of course it also drags in the... More

A friend who lives in NYC highly recommended The Sunburnt Calf on the Upper West Side. Boy am I glad he did. This Aussie establishment offers bottomless mimosas or bloody marys with brunch. I was sold at that fact alone but when I heard the waitress describe the Heart Attack special it got even better. The Heart Attack was a... More
