Our jazz loving friends visit The Lambs Club on their yearly trip to New York, and this year we met them for a Sunday brunch. I loved the spacious feeling of the room, the light jazz trio, and scoring the round table for easy conversation. I had a Swiss chard quiche which was wonderfully thick with vegetables. As it was... The Lamb's Club is all that - an amazing setting (think red leather retro vibe with photos of everyone who is anyone in the hostory of theater); charming booths, subdued lighting and FABULOUS food. The menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner is all spectacular and the food is presented simply, elegantly and promptly. There is a good selection of teas,... More

We wanted a small dinner before seeing a Broadway show. I am a Food Network junkie so I had already added this restaurant to the list because it was one street away from the show. We chose the bar upstairs and they were busy at 5:00 but they let us have a table as long as we would be gone... More

We each ordered different things from the menu for lunch and breakfast and everything was delicious. I've been there for business dinners on other trips and found it to be a great restaurant for business or romantic meals.

I'm not even a "salad person" but the one I ate here was the best one I've ever tasted. We did 3 courses, each of our party ordering something different and sharing. There wasn't one thing I didn't absolutely love. It's pricey but if you are a foodie, well worth the $. Lambs Club will be on my "what to... More

I have come to this restaurant on several occasions. Three times wonderful and three times terrible. All were with clients. Uninterested servers and cold food ruined two trips, the other failure was showing up five minutes past a reservation time to be turned away by the hostess that breakfast was no longer being served. Slightly ridiculous - when charging $10... More

The food was truly delicious but the atmosphere was ridiculously pretentious. If you enjoy being urged to spend spend spend -- and many people do like that, to impress a date or business colleague, for example -- then look no further. But we're NYers who simply wanted fine food before a play, not a demonstration to entice us to spend... More

The Lambs Club was walking distance from our Midtown hotel and easy walking distance to our Sunday Matinee of The Book of Mormon. That said, we booked our 11:30 reservation principally because of the jazz quartet that was playing that day. Cocktails were well prepared and tasty, brunch was good to very good (Huevos Rancheros and Pressed Egg & Cheese... More

What a disappointment. I wasn't expecting them to knock my socks off. I've seen other reviews. But the food at the Lambs Club recently was just plain bad. The foie gras dish I ordered looked and tasted like it had been made days earlier. Part of the reason I order foie gras is for that wonderful subtle mouth feel and... More

Everything was perfect. Six of us came to celebrate a birthday -- and we were all made to feel special. We weren't rushed (we spent over three hours talking, laughing, and dining). The room with the big fireplace -- very clubby -- was quiet and made for easy conversations. The wait staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our appetizers, meals,... More
