GREAT DINNER IN THE THEATRE DISTRICT

The Lambs Club is in the heart of the theatre district, and an oasis to the noise and crowds outside, The restaurant has a lovely décor, interesting and accessible menu and wonderful service which will get you out in time for the theatre, but not feeling rushed. I had the octopus as an appetizer... read more

I had one of the best steaks ever there and the roasted shallots that accompanied it were to die for. Their lamb chops are good too.

Love the cocktails and small plates here, which is near many of the broadway theaters, but much classier and more historic than places west of broadway.

The Lambs Club has a very nice "New York" feel to it, so we were excited when we first arrived. The wait staff seemed to be disorganized, and the service was below our expectations. The food was average at best. With all the fine restaurants that NYC has to offer, I would suggest that you pass on this one.

Food was really good and with the right proportions. Appetizers, get the grilled peppers! Heirloom tomatoes salad very good as well. Lamb chops was AWESOME!

Sat at the bar upstairs, which offered the RW menu (vs downstairs it’s ala carte). There were two bartenders. Even at 5:30 on a Thursday night, service was fairly slow. Buratta was not what I had in mind, somewhat sense and chewy without a creamy center. Chicken breast, on the other hand, was a success. It had a nice crispy... More

First the location in midtown on 44th street in the heart of the theatre district makes this a very attractive option for a pre diner meal. I sent my cousins here before a show based on the reviews. They raved about the service and their diner. I felt I had to give it a try. The service was incredible! We... More

The Lambs Club is a hidden gem near hectic Timesquare. It is beautifully appointed, relatively quiet (at least for lunch) and excellent food. I have been a couple of times for business lunches and have been impressed each time. I recently are there at restaurant week and was very happy with the selection.

We are during restaurant week but decided to order from the regular menu. The service was prompt. Even though we were there after a Broadway show the place was busy on a Thursday night. Glad we had reservations.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
