Fun Brunch

Joined the festivities for brunch, which features "bottomless" mimosas, bellinis or bloody marys. It opens at 11:30 and there was a crowd by noon the place was filled-so-go early or later in the day. The way it works, each table gets a 90 minute bottomless cocktail window. There is a nice brunch... read more

Went there today for brunch which we had prepaid and reserved through a discount offer. Found the windows covered over with brown paper and a sign saying the business was closed.

Actually, I've never had the Italian food there, since I'm hooked on their hamburgers, which are all natural, with no hormones or antibiotics. They're a special Italian beef. They come with homemade, crispy fries and are always yummy. Service is good and the atmosphere is homey.

Undoubtedly the worst service we have ever experienced on our travels. Ok, New York is busy for brunch at the weekend but our experience at this establishment was unacceptable. We were given a glass of water upon being seated - yay! It took another 20+ minutes to order a coffee once I attracted the waiters attention. We subsequently ordered our... More

This is the place to go for Sunday Brunch! The food is fantastic and the drinks are delicious! Worth every penny! The service is great, the place is always busy when I've been there for brunch.

The title says it all. I'd go there for the drinks; the bartender did a great job with the drinks, including accommodating my sister's request for reducing the simple syrup in her drink. It wasn't crowded (it was around 5:30 on a Saturday) which was great, since we could hear ourselves talk without shouting. The food was average: the gnocchi... More

I loved that this was a little bistro style bar/grill tucked away in Hell's Kitchen. Not your usual tourist stop, i.e. not a kazillion people, tons of noise, and bland food. Not at all. The servers and bar tender were friendly with each other and with the other patrons. My sister and I each ordered the steak and eggs to... More

My wife and I had a coupon to visit, 29.00 brunch which includes two entrees and all you can drink for 90'minutes. We were told the crab cake benedicts were particularly good. They were fine, for the price. Not a lot of crab flavor, sauce was pretty cold and bland, fruit platter (Extra) was ok but little to write home... More

Visited with family. Most expensive restaurant on our trip to New York, had evening meal, standard of food mediocre. We were expecting exotic Italian, but were disappointed with what tasted like some reconstituted meatballs. Staff seemed uninterested, however discount was given for the starter when we complained.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
