Good sandwiches and salads at good prices. We found it casually. An easy place but friendly staff. To remember visiting Greenwich

I was staying in Jersey City and using the PATH to get to Manhattan, this place is right beside one of the stations. I had a great breakfast - banana pancakes that were freshly made and service that was friendly. They were a bit rushed preparing lots of take out orders but that dis not mean any huge delay.

We called in to use the restroom and stayed for a couple of drinks. Decor is fairly basic but there was an open mike night on with some great singers so was enjoyable. Barman was from Ireland and was very friendly. We were only in the area as we were going to an event in Hudson River Park. If you're... More

Wanted a relaxed evening and ended up at Path. Good beer selection and very friendly staff. They have live music every night, free wifi and a good selection of food. A nice place to chill out

Perfectly located next to path station which makes it easy to reach, they now also offer online orders at their official website (just Google "The path Cafe NY"). One of my favorite and will always be...

We stopped in here--literally as we stepped out of the Path tunnel. The food was fresh, atmosphere was comfortable, service prompt and efficient. Really...nothing bad to say!!!

Right off the PATH station at Christopher. Great prices and good service. I got 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and potatoes for $8.95. Doesn't get better than that.

After searching all over the place on Yelp for a restaurant in the area. I wanted something that would take my credit card and also have Wifi. I also wanted to have a bit of a lunch, something that would fill me up. I ordered the special soup and "hero" on Penni. Todays special was some sort of roast beef... More

Small cafe with few menu items but, in our experience, savory salads and sandwiches. We sat at the counter where friendly and efficient David was attending. The place was packed with youngsters that were listening and cheering a young singer that was belting folksy ballads with in a beautiful soprano. My companion had a generous serving of roasted beets-mesclun-chevre salad... More

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
