This was not French cuisine.

The good things about Trois Canards are that it is inexpensive and the stuff is very friendly and prompt. The ambience is very nice, with vintage posters, old bottles under the ceiling and a string of French songs in the background. Cuisine, however, was not quite French. Tiny french bistro. I went here before heading over to the upright citizens brigade show. Had the charcuterie plate with a salad. Wine was nice and very reasonable for NYC standards with most bottle's the $30-40 range. The food was great, the salad was dressed well (not overly dressed how is customary in France).

We found Trois Canards on Savored.com and liked the location and menu so booked a pre-theater dinner. When we got there at 5 it was just us but that worked out as we got the best table. We sat in an old French Doorway with two large doors framing us so that we had a private inside/outside table with a... More

My husband and I discovered this restaurant a year ago. We absolutely fell in love with it. It's small but cozy. We decided to go back again this year because we enjoyed our food very much. The escargot was delicious!

The ambience was quaint and so relaxing. The food (ravioli aux cepe) was delicious! Service was excellent. Highly recommended.

The resturant is divided into 2 sections, the main dining room and a small room in the back. That room in the back remind me of Paris. The place is clean and the service is excelent, the only thing out of place is, for a French resturant they do play a lot of Portuges music. We startred our dinner with... More

We go here often and enjoy the food, service and décor. Obviously the place specializes in duck, but we also like the wild rice and entire meal. This time, we also took our grandson and a friend of him.

We wandered in after a reserved table nearby was not honored. It was early and we five and another couple were the only patrons. The restaurant is very small and we were pretty loud so I felt a little uncomfortable. That said the food and service were excellent and it shares the kitchen with Tello around the corner. I definitely... More

The menu and waiting staff were not impressive, but never judge a book by its cover! The food was fresh and very tasty. I had a great steak burger with crisp fries and my friends enjoyed delicious pannis. The diner does look like something out of a Woody Allen film, but the food is worth trying. We thought the place... More
