We found this restaurant by chance and I am thrilled we did. They have the best Italian food I have had in a long time.

We wanted a place to have lunch near the Theatre district that wouldn't cost us half our day, so after reading the reviews here- Capizzi it was! It's the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Times Square- without breaking your wallet. (The menu is on their website). The owners, from Italy, were so kind.... More

Pizza was great, service was warm and welcoming. Beer selection and menu were good. Nice Experience in Hell's Kitchen.

I ordered a eggplant pizza which was delivered free. It was not the best tasting eggplant parmigiano pizza that I ate. It was too cheesy, and did not have much eggplant on it. They did deliver it fast.

We rate this as the best pizza restaurant in NYC for pizza, service and atmosphere. The 50's tv fridge coke coolers were a nice touch to the decor

Five of us escaped a rainy NYC afternoon to a nearby Starbucks and spotted this place from Tripadvisor. Having missed lunch, we were ravenous and when the downpour had ran it's course, we went for it. Much to our surprise we found the restaurant empty, but still decided to risk it (breaking the #1 rule of tourism). The guys running... More

We wanted a true Italian experience and that is what we got! My sister and daughter are real foodies so our NYC weekend was all about the restaurants! Capizzi was small, quaint and cozy. We had to ask a policeman for directions,he told us he eats there all the time and it was a good choice! He was right, the food,service,wine... More

While there are hundreds of places to eat pizza in New York, We've been lucky enough to find yet another restaurant that is excellent. Upon entering, you see maybe 10 or 12 tables, about half of them seat 2 people. My immediate thought was how good can this be? We found out in a hurry how good. This pizza is... More

We visited Capizzi in March and I wrote a review praising their service and excellent food in a quaint dining environment. I stated that we were over charged in our review. I must do another entry to state that the owner read my review and emailed me to apologize. He very graciously sent us a gift card for MORE than... More
