We were looking for a restaurant close by our hotel (Doubletree on W36th) and went here because of its excellent reviews. We couldn't agree more. All of us had wonderful pizzas, I'd particularly recommend the Pizza Margherita which was awesome. Service was quick and friendly and the price was pretty reasonable. The only concern I would have would be about... More

Came to this restaurant as it was near the hotel we were staying in and the menu looked appealing, the inside of the restaurant was very lovely and warming. The food was excellent and at a good price, however the service was not very good in my opinion and the waiter did not make you feel welcome as if he... More

We asked our hotel to recommend a good place for pizza and they directed us to Capizzi's just down the street. Hotel employees raved about it. The antipasto misto was so big, it would have been enough, but we also ordered the eggplant parmigiana pizza. Loved the thin crust and roasted eggplant. Our server was a delightful young lady with... I just came in NYC, not knowing what to eat for lunch. Then we asked our concierge for suggestion. We were lucky she suggested Capizzi and it's only 2 minutes walk from The Hotel. The restaurant is modest and small but you can sense the feel of Italian once you stepped in. The waitress suggested Prosciutto Pizza, Goat Cheese Salad,... More

We were greeted and seated immediately, the menu was explained, and our food was served promptly. This is a rustic setting across the street from the bus terminal. The staff were very friendly, and the food was good.

Had been looking for Italians to visit near our hotel in times square; this restaurant is slightly away from the hustle and bustle, I had read reviews and was aware there is a number of complaints about service. Upon arrival we walked in and stood by the front door waiting for someone to greet us and sit us down for... More

We arrived without a reservation with 7 people. We expected this to be a problem, but it was no problem at all. After only five minutes we had a table. During dinner we discoverd why we had a table so fast: you hardly get time to enjoy your food and company: as soon as your plate is empty it is... More

My family came from Sicily. The ambiance reminded me of my grand parents home. The servers were quick and friendly. Food was amazing. We would highly recommend to anyone.

It was a nice pizza, but with a poor service. Options of wine are very limited also. Good price for new york, though.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
