We were staying at hotel about 6 blocks away and had Capizzi deliver to our room after an exhausting day walking around the city. To our delight, our pizza was delivered in only 35 minutes by a friendly driver. Quality ingredients, like fresh mozzarella and fresh basil with a light and very tasty crust. Although we didn't actually visit the... More

Chose Capizzi as it was close to where we were staying and already had some great reviews. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's only a small restaurant so may need to book on weekends but it is well worth a visit.

I'm always looking for opportunities to try authentic Italian restaurants, which can be hard to find sometimes. But this place was really good. The pizza was pretty authentic, reminding me of the pizza from Italy itself.

We came across capizzi while we were walking past one day and we spent New Year's Eve there. The atmosphere, staff and food was amazing! We felt like we were in Italy not in the middle of New York! It was great to find some where that felt like home in a city that never sleeps! Definitely worth going to!... More

Great pizza, funky little place with eclectic decor, very friendly Sicilian staff. Nice little area with other shops and bars and whatnot nearby. Going back.

I'd probably give them 5 stars, but I've never actually eaten here. I order takeout from Capizzi all the time and it is always hot & delicious. I usually order the "loaded" pizza which is fantastic if you like everything on your pizza. They deliver pretty timely & you get 10% off the bill when you order online from their... More

Couldn't wait to go back for the authentic Pizza. Last time we were in NY it was amazing. This time the Pizza was served cold and the server never came back to check on us. I expect so much more from a $20 small pizza. :(

After checking on Tripadvisor for a good restaurant close to our Hotel, we opted to try Capizzi after reading the excellent reviews and good rating. We also wanted to try a typical NY pizza whilst visiting this fantastic City! We were not disappointed. We ordered the Prosciutto and Aragula pizza which was excellent. A must try is the Arugula Salad... More
