Description: The Cangiano's embrace family tradition in the food business that dates...
The Cangiano's embrace family tradition in the food business that dates back to 1919, when grandma Cangiano opened her first Salumeria, stocked with the freshest Italian products. Tre Otto was opened in 2009 by Louis and Lauren Cangiano, the 4th generation of Cangiano's providing New York with authentic Italian food prepared from family recipes. The restaurant offers a casual inspired lunch menu as well as an elegant dinner menu that reflects the best traditions of Sicilian food.
In the twenty plus years that Louis and Lauren have lived in the Carnegie Hill area, they have always searched for a neighborhood Italian restaurant that felt warm and welcoming - an extension of their own home - where the food was superb and where the atmosphere was magical. They believe that you will find this at Tre Otto.

Diamond in the rough

Came here for lunch. Small place, good menu, limited wine selection. Service is slow (not sure there was more than one waiter) but food was DELICIOUS. The arroncini balls were delicious. The linguine with clam sauce cooked to perfection.

Great food at fair prices. A menu for all palettes. Went here after a very long day for the birth of my Grandchild and it was the perfect place to unwind and celebrate. Within walking distance of Mt. Sinai hospital.

Friend and I looking for a nice lunch spot near the Museum of the City of New York. Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. We had the spaghetti and the Caprese salad. I wasn't over the moon about the buffalo mozzarella, the flavor was a little off and I didn't see any basil. My friend said the spaghetti was good. Service highly... More

The four of us stopped here for lunch. Sat at the bar and the barmaid Madisen was FANTASTIC! Very friendly, attentive, and fully answered all out questions about the menu items. Had the basic spaghetti and ravioli dishes which were well prepared and tasty. The only downside which we felt was overshadowed by the great service and food was the... More

After a long walk at central park we decided to walk on Madison Av to find a place for lunch and we were lucky enough to find a table at Tre Otto. Cozy environment, quick service, tasty dishes: what else can anyone ask? I had pasta -Fettuccine ai funghi which I totally reccomend and my partner had Spaghetti alla chitarra... More

I wish I were hungry, the menu looks good and they serve one of my favorite dishes. The wine is good too. I like the decor and the music. Definitely coming back with friends.

Pleasant atmosphere. Good service overall without much interaction from servers. Food was ok. Will visit again though just for the "Polipo alla Griglia."

After visiting a friend at Mt. Sinai hospital we wanted to find a nice place to eat not far away. It seemed the area was full of fast food joints and diners. Walking down Madison Avenue we came upon what looked like an interesting Italian restaurant, Tre Otto. Upon entering we found ourselves in a very homey looking old time... More

Nice Italian restaurant with a good variety of wines, beers, and options to eat that take you directly to Italy. Their home made pasta makes the experience even more wonderful, as well as the service they give. I was given a really great service, and would recommend this restaurant without doubts to anyone who wants to eat well and spend... More
