Restaurant has great ambiance, only one table filled when we entered. We were offered seats at the bar? Why? I don't understand the whole scene that plays out at the door. Service slow when every request ( butter, iced tea) had to be repeated. My 3 prawns ($15) arrived with their eyes staring .When my friend asked about sharing a... More

Small tapas sized plates that stretches the taste buds and the wallet. But it is Manhattan and the service was very high. Just go in aware. Blue Hawaiian prawns (3 of) will set you back $15++. Wine is about 30% above market and available by the glass. A very nice experience overall but you should expect adventure and palette challenge... More

The menu items were tapas size and unique. If you order a few items, then you could share better.Great for a quick small bite. We didn't have a full meal there.

Stopped by late night on a solo trip and grabbed a seat at the bar. My mind was on oysters and bubbly so ordered some along with the swiss chard and ricotta toast. Very satisfying, indeed! Already looking forward to going back.

Came upon this restaurant by chance and what a great find it was. The food was delicious and fresh, several types of oysters were available to try and the waiter Ben was very knowledgeable and helpful about what we should try. I had the periwinkles - something I'd never even thought about as a food and they were amazing. the... More

Reading a tourist NY guide I became curious about this place and saturday I went there for a little appetizer. I wanted to try some oysters and I was lucky enough to find 6 different ones both from east and west coast of the states. The service was good, the oyster were exceptional but the selection of wine was poor.... More

We stopped in for a glass of wine and a few oysters. The service was a bit slow but the atmosphere and food was good. We also had squid stuffed with chorizo that was pretty good too. They are a little pricey.

I had wanted to visit this place for ever as I love seafood and have read the favourable press a couple of years back. I loved the Spotted Pig but left underwhelmed by the John Dory. First, we were treated with disdain as we came here to sample the food and chose not to drink. The portions were tiny and... More
