The food at this restaurant is really good and the bistro atmosphere fun also, but the service left something to be desired. We had to ask for everything and flag down the waiter every time we wanted something, even water. It was a shame; otherwise a good meal. Don't know if I'd try it again.

The food was classic Belgium with great seafood and fish items, but it was the beer that we came for. Small selection (12 drafts) but all good and interesting. Great service and knowledgable staff in a great location for the upper West Side. Try the Kwak; the mug and frame highlight the delicious beer inside!

My wife and I were craving Belgian beer and Belgian fare and this little cafe in the UWS did not disappoint. It's always a treat to be able to have a beer like kwak on tap so immediately I knew the experience would be very enjoyable. The staff was very attentive to our needs and the food itself was delicious.... More

We stumbled across B Cafe on the upper west side and we are glad that we tried it. Very cozy and friendly bistro with outdoor and indoor seating. We were accommodated immediately on a Friday evening. The flight of beers is really fun. We enjoyed light to dark as well as a fruit-based lambac. Fun way to taste a variety... More

Okay the place is small but not a big deal. Party of 3. Palm on tap!! Shared 2 apps - loved the Bitterballen not so much the cheese croquettes. Thumbs up for the Mussels Mariniere. Not bad on the Mussels Hoegaardenly Garlic style. Fries were awesome. Tender beef with Carbonnades Flamandes but a little too sweet. Would go back.

Our family had a great brunch at the B Cafe. We sat in the sidewalk cafe area. This is a great section for people watching. The service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. The eggs Benedict, egg baguette, Belgium Waffle, and omelet with salmon were all very good. The Belgium special sauce was... More

Serving very good bistro food and having extensive beer selection, this small cozy and lively restaurant is a neighborhood treasure. Their moule marinier is especially good as well as other iterations of this classic dish are excellent too. French fries are also expertly done. Be warned, this restaurant is always busy so make reservations.

This restaurant may not look like much on the outside – indeed, we walked past it daily for a solid 2 years before we ever bothered to go in. Boy was that a mistake! The food is an excellent rendition of the delicious Belgian cuisine, but the encyclopedic selection of Belgian beers is worth the trip alone, including my all-time favorite... More

I appreciate a restaurant that does a few things but does them well. This is a Belgian Bistro specializing in Mussels and Frites with terrific Belgian beers. Bingo! Of paramount importance, the place is busy so the fish is fresh and tasty. The other dishes, though rustic, seem authentically prepared. This place hums and the check is more than fair.

We were in mood for crepes, so tried this restaurant blind. We returned for a second time as the food was so good. I can heartily recommend the omelets, Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict and nutella/banana crepes. And the French fries are crispy and delicious! Staff is very attentive. Beer selection is huge. This place is added to my permanent collection... More
