Great Steak!

Great steak! Nice wine list that I found suprisingly affordable for NYC. I don't think the side dishes stood up to the quality/price, but steak certainly did. It is a very open restaurant, so may be a little noisy for serious meetings/conversations.

my second visit in 2 months, i don't think there will be a 3rd. I found that my visits 2 years ago that the food was much better. Service was good but the steaks disappointing

This place has been around for a while and survived all modern cuisine trends by serving high quality classic dishes. We had no reservation, but the manager quickly helped us out with a nice table. A big complimentary bread basket was brought to our table while we made a choice from the extensive menu and wine list. The waiters were... More

The steak was good and cooked to order. However, the restaurant environment or ambience does not match the price you pay for the meal. I expected to have better than a noisy restaurant with no ambience. The bread is cold, and we were told that they have no way to heat the bread. Really??? Overall it is not worth the... More

I have always said that Sparks Steakhouse is my favorite in Manhattan but Wolfgang's is gaining fast!!! The Porterhouse steak for 2 we got was out of this world and cooked to perfection. Also, the onion rings were fabulous and we shared a salad and it was so nice of them to split it for us. Our waiter was great... More

Like some of the more recent reviews, I noticed a drop off in the quality and size of the entrees. What used to be a steak for two is now being billed as steak for three. The quality of the beef is also not like is was before Wolfgang expanded all over the place. My guess is that some of... More

I had an excellent bar meal 2 weeks ago, enjoyed sirloin steak and a highly recommended cabernet sauvignon with an entertaining barman named Jack. Whilst the steak wasn't cheap it was cooked as I requested, only let down was the slightly hard potato.

Had a great porterhouse for 2 at Wolfgang's. I've been to the one in TriBeCa and this was just as good. Great food and great service. The steak is perfectly prepared and they have an excellent selection of wines to go with it. Will definitely be back next time I visit New York.

My. Family and I have eaten dozens of times in various Wolfgang steakhouses. So we have a basis to judge a good meal from a bad one. Tonight we ordered a porterhouse and lamb chops. While the basic meat was well aged it was poorly cooked. .we ordered the steak rare it cam e medium rare but more importantly the... More

I was there to celebrate my cousins 50th birthday which was to be a special occasion. The food was above average and so was the staff but the ambience was horrific. We were sitting next to a table of 15 frat boys and it was extremely loud and obnoxious! We could not hear our conversation over their loudness. I would... More
