Beautiful Steak

Our first night in New York we went to Wolfgang's as a colleague who lives and works in New York said it was the best steak ever. We were greeted by the Manager, the staff were super nice and helpful. The restaurant itself wasn't anything fancy and the menus are laminated so no feel of luxury... read more

I was here for lunch. I had the rib eye steak, which comes with spinach and mushed potatoes. I also had s glass of chianti. Service was very fast and professional. I was served with a basket of bread and butter immediately. All my request were done perfectly. The food was not excellent but good. The steak was a bit... More

I went here with a friend of mine that eats here monthly, and even he admitted it was a bad experience. Standard steakhouse atmosphere and waiters. We had terrible service and our steak for two came out cold. Complete disappointment. Hopefully an isolated incident. Reservations recommended if you do go, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it.

Picked this location because it was convenient to hotel. Restaurant was very busy on a Sunday night. I would say about 75% male. Very international crowd, many languages. Steak was delicous, just as good as Peter Luger. Very loud, they get you in and out in no time! Best for a expense account!

I had a T-bone steak and it was grilled perfectly and the meat was top quality. Value for money was okay. The waiter was a bit rude.

If you're a first time visitor to New York.. I recommend this place for a elegant night out with your significant other..! The Resturant sits below the street line, with small windows located above the bar facing the streets.. The architecture is amazing.. There is beautiful tile work, thru out the Resturant .. In the evening , the mood is... More

Ordered the chopped salad with chicken. Fresh ingredients with grilled chicken. Also ordered the lamb chops medium. They were excellent. Came with mashed potato and spinach. The rolls were fresh but could have been served warm. For dessert ordered chocolate mousse cake with vanilla ice cream. Delicious! We enjoyed our food and the pleasant atmosphere.

My friends and I arrived early after shopping one day, so the restaurant was not busy at all. We were sat in the very back. We had to ask THREE times for someone to come and wait on us. It was 15 minutes after we sat down before we ever got the first drink. We had to ask for bread.... More

We celebrated my birthday here. The location is nice. It has glass windows on all sides. It is in the NY Times building. It makes it interesting. The food was wonderful. Started with the tomatoes& mozzarella dish. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. The meat was tendered, juicy, and tasty. It went down well. We had the mushrooms and... More

I had a dinner with my wife. Although we arrived at the restaurant on time of the booking time, we were made to wait for 20 minutes before seated. We ordered the aged porterhouse steak for two persons and did not order the appetizer because I heard that this steak is very big and we should not order except the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
