Business dinner - very festive (read: loud) restaurant, but it worked fine for our group. Waiter continually tried up selling us (even brought one guy 2 beers at once). He was a little odd, but the sizzling porterhouses that we got were incredible! "Porterhouse for 2" will easily feed 4. Mushrooms and mash potatoes were tasty. The Appetizer to get... More

Excellent food, porter steak outstanding, huge portions, great service. Although we did not find it a problem- as we came with family and friends, this is NOT a romantic place. Busy, noisy etc. but really full with good energy.

We have been to the Wolfgangs on Park Ave and decided to try this one as well. We went on a Saturday night and although it was raining, it was still crowded. We ordered the porterhouse steak, the creamed spinach, german potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and the Wolfgang's salad. Everything was delicious - probably the best steak I've ever had. The... More

This visit was a Saturday night. I suspect the restaurant has a different personality during the week with repeat business customers. Saturday night was tourist night, people unlikely to return. Seated at a table next to a crying 2 year old. When I protsted, I was told they were leaving soon. They didn't. Every time the mother took the kid... More

And wine! Nice staff, reasonably priced for what it is. It was busy so if you plan to go on the weekend or evenings its best to make a booking, we went 3 times and i couldn't fault it.

We sat at the bar and had lunch. The menu was what you would expect and the burger was excellent. It came with fries and onion rings, which seems a bit decadent. I was exceptionally disappointed though in the wines by the glass selection which was just the generic "Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Gris..." For a steakhouse where people care about... More

I can't fault the food we had at dinner on Sunday night. It was a very good steak. My only issue with the restaurant was the staff. We seemed to be served by 3 or 4 different waiters. This I thought was impersonal which is unusual in the US. Our table was very wonky and we requested that it be... More

We were at Wolfgang's midtown restaurant for dinner September 16th and it was an enjoyable experience. The Canadian bacon appetizer was very good, mixed green salad good and the filet mignon excellent, cooked just to order. The mashed potatoes side was very good but the steamed spinach left something to be desired. We didn't have dessert as dinner was filling.... More

A beautiful big room with speedy (if a little stiff) service. But the food was tremendous. I recommend the bacon to start and the onion and tomato too. Had the porterhouse to share for the main, which was perfect, seared and tender. You could almost cut it with your fork. Pecan pie for dessert was too good to pass up.... More

I visited here in January this year and was very disappointed. The service was very rushed the food was very overpriced and the surroundings was like a school dinner hall. I have had much better quality of meat in smaller less established restaurants.
