If you're ever uptown stop in for a coffee and pastry. Yummy cupcakes. My daughter loves it there.

Its a little little shop with just 3 tables that has the best cheesecake in NY (and we have tasted a lot!) and a fridge display with their amazing buttercream frosted cakes that you just want to eat them all at once!

New York offers you many many bakeries, but this one is really special ! Excellent cheesecake, and great cupcakes ! If you are a chocolate lover, try the Brookling cupcake. It is to die for!

I found this bakery based on the favorable reviews on here. My husband and I went out of the way to get to this place and we found various cake, cookies, etc. We arrived around 10am and the cupcakes, to my disappointment, were not ready. I bought a brooklyn blackout cake and piece of cheesecake because of the popularity. Both... More

My wife, daughter and I were in New York for a long weekend and went for an after dinner desert at Two Little Red Hens. We had a ginger, plum and cherry pie. It was amazing! I wish this little jewel were in our neighborhood!

This little bakery is superb!! They offer cupcakes which are amazing and the New York cheesecake is the absolute BEST you will ever taste. Perfect and fluffy, not too sweet and the base is a delicious biscuit. An absolute MUST for anyone traveling to NYC - well worth the travel from any part of town!!

Fantastic cupcakes! I got a red velvet, banana, carrot, and chocolate (ack, forget what they call it but it starts with a "b"). Both the cake and the frosting were fresh and amazing on all of them. My favorite was the chocolate, despite forgetting what they call it. The banana was more muffin like in consistency. Reasonably priced. The place... More

My wife and I visited NYC for a week and were in search of a local bakery shop that served up the best cakes and Two Little Red Hens on the Upper East Side was hands down the best. Their cheesecake was creamy, delicious, rich (but not overpowering rich); their muffins were out of this world: try the "Crunchy Apple"... More

Hey...I love to cook and bake and so my parents. I have worked at a few upscale bakeries throughout my life and have visited most of the famous ones in NYC. Yesterday, I indulged in the yellow cupcake with fudge frosting and it was just so delicious. I wasn't even really looking for anything shockingly amazing..i just wanted something sweet... More

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
