Cupcakes to die for

During my recent visit to NYC a friend suggested this Bakery. The place is small and cozy, the service is excellent and the cupcakes are to die for. They had mini cupcakes which made it easier for me to try more than one flavor! I had the red velvet (the best I've ever had), the peanut butter and... read more

We made a special trip here based on online reviews. So happy we did. The best place we ate in NYC. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. Muffins all fresh ingredients and yummy. Cheesecake was heavenly. Staff very friendly. If I ever go back to NYC this little gem might be why.

I am a big fan of Crumbs for cup-cakes but today I happened to walk into this little bakery neatly tucked behind all the construction work going on for the subway on 2nd avenue... This place oozes charm and is beautifully done up. The people at the counter are friendly and warm. I was looking for a "cup-cake" cake for... More

Perhaps some of the most visually spectacular birthday cakes in New York City come out of this bakery. I have never seen such realistic flowers made from frosting! Their cupcakes are exceptional as well!

Everytime I'm in the City I visit here. I ALWAYS end up taking home 4-6 cupcakes on the train. The Brooklyn Blackout is my favorite but I must tell you I have tried them all and not one has ever disappointed! They are moist and never too sweet. There is a small seating area but we always get them to... More

Forget Magnolia. This is the place for the softest cupcakes you've ever tasted and some of the best cheesecake in New York. My favourite cupcakes here are the classic American and the coconut. Been three times and I'll be back. They have a few tables to sit in (always quite busy) or take out.

the blackout cupcake. Worth a trip just to try that! The other items, including cheesecake I didn't care for. The super chocolatey, moist cupcake I would return for!

Our family of four did a cheesecake tour of Manhattan. We chose four places rated by Zagat and another service as having the best cheesecake in NYC. Of the four, this one was rated by every family member as the best. The cheesecake was made perfectly with a slight brownnin top, a graham cracker crust that was to die for.... More

The cherry cheesecake is just awesome there ! I'm not a big fan of cupcakes but theirs are good. Employees are very kind and the atmosphere is very cozy and charming. If you move around the neighborhood, pay a visit ! Besides, prices are very affordable, not like Magnolia's.

Not for those on a diet, but well worth the calories! Best cupcakes I have ever had.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
