OMG, some of the best sweets you'll ever eat

Every bakery, restaurant has red velvet something or another, but the red velvet cup cake from 2 little Red Hens is to die for. However the Brooklyn Blackout beats the red velvet hands down, that is a must have when visiting. There are not a lot of places to sit, so be prepared to wait for a spot... read more

Like others have said, this place does not disappoint! Tasty little dishes are an absolute gem on New York City. Definitely a favourite spot and one that warms the heart!

Naturallt friendly without the attitude of being 100% goodness. The people who work here actually eat what they make. They can give you detailed descriptions about the flavors and ingredients about the classics that they offer like no one else. Coconut macaroons with or without dark choc coating. Sticky buns. Cinnamon buns. Scones with candied ginger and many other clever... More

I went for the cheesecake and was not disappointed. Beautiful little shop in the upper east side. This bakery beats Juniors cheesecake hands down. There is no comparison in terms of freshness and taste.

Their cupcakes are wonderful and the little cakes for 2-4 are equally terrific. They will custom it for events and have excellent hot drinks such as Cappucino and espresso. there is a small area to sit and eat. They also take orders for all of the holidays and the pies are as good as you can get around the ues.

Not a fancy looking Bakery nor one that displays much to invite you in, but when you get in to this tiny store, there are customers who know EXACTLY what they want- a delicious cupcake. They are sized for 2 people. A variety of flavors and FRESH between 11-2pm. My family loves Two Little Red Hens!

Everyone goes here for the cakes, which are amazing, but honestly they have the most perfect muffins and scones, as well as pies. They are perfectly baked, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside full of the star ingredients. The tri-berry collection is a staple for me on weekends, but their seasonal muffins, scones, and pies (particularly pumpkin/ginger/peach scones... More

This is a small bakery, but they do have tables where you can sit and have a coffee while partaking of their delicious pastries. Also a good place to get a nice cake for a special occasion, as they do great decorating.

We ordered a pumpkin and plain cheesecake with fruit sauce and loved them both. There are only a few tables but it's very quaint and cozy. I would highly recommend this place for dessert.

We tried three times this little place, and were more than pleased. DO NOT DESPAIR because of the very long waiting list to order.... It takes about 15 minutes at most and you reach the counter. Meanwhile you can enjoy the drawings and the large variety of cakes. We ordered hot chocolate (excellent) and various cheescake - all very good.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
