Cheesecake

Awesome cheesecake. The best I've had. plus it's such a cute little warm and friendly place that is so inviting. They also have coffee and a variety of cupcakes and other desserts. Close enough to the MET to go there for dessert after your visit.

Ate a salad nearby for lunch, saving room for a cupcake. Tried the Brooklyn Blackout. They need a license to sell something that wonderfully sinful. DELICIOUS!!

This "off the beaten path" bakery is simply my all-time favorite. It seems like their street has been under construction forever (at least since my 1st visit in 2013) but it is well worth the effort. The staff has always been top-notch and very inviting. The cupcakes...well, they are simpy the best. So very delishious and moist. The cheesecake was... More

Having read the reviews and viewed the pictures I had my eye on some cherry cheesecake. Unfortunately because it is SO good they only had it in stock on my 3rd visit! Also had the pecan pie which was similarly delicious. Value for money too considering the portion size and quality.

YUM! The reviews do not lie - this place makes amazing stuff. The cheesecake blew our minds - the crust is out of this world - and the cupcakes were equally delicious. We would have tried every single thing in there if our wallets and bellies had allowed us to. Do yourselves a favor and go there!

Stopped here for a bite a couple of days ago. We had the Brooklyn blackout, peanut butter and chocolate cupcakes. All three were yum. The place is quaint and lovely to sit in. Local folks dropping in to order cakes for birthdays, a baby on a stroll with her mommy, etc.

We had Brooklyn Blackout Cupcakes and they were delicious. Not only were they expertly prepared with high-quality ingredients, they were obviously fresh. The cupcakes were moist and had a deep, rich chocolate flavor. Everything else looked amazing too!

A must for anyone in search of a sweet treat! This little shop has excellent cupcakes, far better than the more popular Magnolia. Tried the mini cupcakes which were the perfect bite! Don't miss the Brooklyn Blackout - chocolate filled with chocolate pudding, delicious!

Stopped in to pick up a couple of cupcakes. We tried the red velvet & the Brooklyn Blackout. The red velvet had a cream cheese frosting & was a perfect balance of cake/frosting. The Brooklyn Blackout, however, had a yummy filling and was spectacular. Highly recommend stopping in. Tiny place & there wasn't a line when we were there, but... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighborhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighborhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighborhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
