Disappointing food and service

Visited for Sunday brunch. We were a large party and they gave us the whole back room — very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. That's where my satisfaction ends, unfortunately. The service was beyond bad. Very slow and unattentive. Also tried to charge me for food I didn't order. I don't... read more

Nice dimly lit Gastropub with decent beer selection and above average bar food items. No loud music so perfect for a first date.

Visited early evening so avoided any wait for tables. Friendly service and prompt. The food turned up in 10 minutes and was excellent costing what you would expect. Would recommend to anyone.

we've dined here twice before going to see the Daily Show. 8- minute walk to the studio from the restaurant. We like everything about this place (and it is in a block with a lot of good food choices, including 2 Thai restaurants just across the street - gotta love NYC!). Very good beer selection. Nice ambiance, plenty of TVs at bar, friendly bartender and workers. Feels like a neighborhood bar. Had the Kobe sliders and sweet potato fries... both were excellent

A group of 9 (ages 11-48) were heading over to NYC for a 2:30 show. We decided to grab an early dinner and wanted to be near the theater due to January winter weather. I found a few good reviews for the Brickyard - called and easily had a reservation for 9. (a few weeks before the date mind you).... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
