Really Good Food and Beer - Perfection

There is some really great eating houses in Hell's Kitchen and The Brickyard Gastropub is one of them. Went here with a group on a Thursday night; just turned up at about 8:00 pm and was seated immediately. Nice atmosphere, just busy enough to feel lively but not enough to slow down service. As two weary travellers from Australia seeking gluten free options, we were amazed to find such fabulous burgers here. We walked in off the street and were lucky enough to score a table (very busy so recommend you book ahead). Our waiter was well versed in gluten-free options and we both went the burger. The best gluten free buns we've... More

Try the Brickyard Amber Ale. The glazed wings are also really good. Our waitress, Amber was fun and engaging.

This place is a must if you want a casual, but modern atmosphere, a great bartender, excellent service and a nice mix of music. I actually walked in with 3 friends having made reservations for another night by mistake. The host was so friendly and offered a recommendation for another restaurant a block away if we didn't want to wait... More

This pub is lovely. The menu is different to other places, certainly in a good way, and nothing on there I wouldn't not want to try a very hard food choice to make. Simply lovely yummy food and would definitely go back

We was walking along looking for a restaurant for dinner and we noticed Trip Adviser sign in the window of BrickYard. I said this will do!!!! The charming young lady greeter said she had a table at the back. As there was seven of us. It was a fab meal! We all loved everything. I congratulated the owner and promised... More

It's a slightly up-scale pub on 9th Avenue in Manhattan. Not sure whether they call themselves a sports bar, but they have lots of screens and there's usually a game on. Food is unexpectedly good (fresh, well-prepared, moderately priced, and served promptly). Service is efficient and friendly. Lots of beers on tap as well as an extensive bottle list. Great... More

I would start by saying I only had the artichoke dip and a glass of wine on a Friday afternoon, so not much interaction with the waiting staff. Both were fine, but I agree with reviews that it is a little pricey for the food you get. The bar itself is nice, but dark at the back like many restaurants... More

Went with BIL for a quick lunch...next thing we know it was 3 hours later! Good veggie burger and truffle fries. A little pricey but it's NYC, I guess.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
