Fave Sushi in Murray Hill

Far from trendy, this place is all about the fish! Excellent sushi and sashimi, great service. I've been going here for the last 10 years and it is consistently the best sushi in Murray Hill. Ok so the ambiance could use some work (and some would argue location as well), but if you don't like the fresh fish, then i'd argue you simply do not understand sushi. Some of the rolls are a bit too much- gargantuan and gregarious, but the quality of the fish has been keeping me coming back for years. The portions... More

I have been here over a dozen times. The sushi is always the freshest and the tastiest of any place I have been to in NYC - perhaps anywhere. If you elect, they will put little garnishes on each piece that really bring out the flavor of the sushi. Fair warning to pescatarians - this is one of the few... More

Although the staff were very good and the atmosphere is fine the sushi and tofu were not for me. Firstly I had a cold tofu dish which usually highlights the taste of the tofu. This was all about the overpowering sauces..jalapeno, spicy and souped up soy. Did nothing for the tofu. They are trying to be inventive with the sushi,... More

I was on a recent business trip to New York City. A colleague and I decided we wanted some Sushi and I had heard of Sushi Sen-Nin and it was nearby our hotel. We were warmly greeted and sat at the Sushi Bar. The waitress was excellent. We decided to let the sushi chef decide on three courses from the... More

This place is in my neighborhood. Exceptionally good sushi and quiet. Good for a slow evening or a business dinner but not if you want engaging atmosphere.

nice atmosphere and a good welcoming staff. I got in late to Hilton Garden Inn across the street and was happy they would take me in for sushi at 9:45pm. Some of the sushi is a bit busy with toppings but it was all delicious.

I tried a lot of plates, suggested and not, it was all really good, very fresh, classic and fusion tasty. Just a little bit expensive

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
