Dinner Celebration after seeing Pope Francis

The food is surprisingly good considering the location; it's located before the DIY LIRR ticketing; the bar section upfront is a little loud but the sit down tables in the back are quiet so you can have a conversation

We were coming into the city from different directions. Where to meet and eat? Tracks of course! It has long been a favorite spot for me at Penn Station, and I think the oysters, service, and prices are better than their better known competition at Grand Central. We had a nice variety of local oysters and were very happy with... More

We've been by this place hundreds of times, and on a recent trip to a matinee show, we stopped in for a leisurely lunch with a child. We were impressed with the cleanliness, food selections and the serving sizes. All were great, so we will certainly be back! Our "Tracks" mystery is solved, at last!

I've been coming here for the seafood and raw bar for many years and always found it to be fresh and good value for what you get. Many people believe it rivals the Oyster Bar in Grand Central. The service is good but can be quite crowded before and after a concert or sporting event. This raw bar will not... More

This place is tucked away downstairs in Penn Station with a rather inauspicious entrance. The first impression we got was it was one very long bar but in the back are some tables where you can have a very comfortable, tasty and intimate seafood meal. Even though there were plenty of choices on the menu we opted just for raw... More

Stopped in here before a Billy Joel concert and was surprised how fresh and nicely prepared the food was. I had the Spinach salad with sea scallops and it was really good. The raw bar is exceedingly fresh and tasty. Sandwiches, burgers, and sides were enjoyed by all six members of our group. Would definitely recommend as a place in... More

A cousin turned me on to this place when we met for dinner a couple of years ago (I was changing trains, he lives in NYC). These days, I go through Penn Station quite a bit. Tracks is my go to place for dinner when waiting for an outbound train. A pub, raw bar, and restaurant, and just about the... More

Down on the Long Island railroad level, this is a great place for a drink and good burger or sandwich before a game at MSG or while waiting for a train. Reasonably priced for where it is.

It's easy to miss this narrow bar and restaurant but if you have time to spare then it's a good stop. The Raw seafood was excellent. There's a good selection of oysters and the clams were great. Shrimp were just a little disappointing size wise but still tasty. Service a bit slow and don't expect a smile but then it's... More
