Ridiculously Good

This is the best food I have ever had. All five family members agree that everything at Forge is better than anything we have had anywhere else. We have sought out excellent places in Chicago, New Orleans, DC, and NONE compares to this. The chef himself was in the kitchen checking each dish prior to it leaving the kitchen. The... More

Great quiet dining atmosphere, especially on the patio. The staff is professional and friendly. We had the chicken which was fabulous, but $62?? We would go back again and try something else.

Ate here recently after wanting to try this venue for sometime. placed our order told our server my wife has a severe nut allergy and she promptly returned to the table to inform us that the rib eye is marinated in a sauce with pink pepper corns ---most kitchens would never know that pink pepper corns are related to cashews... I was in NYC to support my fiance in a bike race she was competing in. After the start of the race, I met with one of my cousin's and his wife for brunch. Great drinks, great service and great food! I highly recommend the waffle and quail or the suck you sliders. One of the best things about this... More

American cuisine with a slight Italian touch served in noisy, vivid pub like atmosphere. Food is inspiring, remembering a bit of farm to table movement. It is a place where people go after work to have a cocktail and good meal, hence the noise level might be high. The decor is nice, with candle lit tables, quite intimate. Altogether pleasant... We walked past Marc Forgone on our walks around TriBeCa. The restaurant looked fantastic so I decided to book for our last meal in NYC. It did not disappoint. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings, The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was some of the best we have had and we eat out at Michelin... More

This truly was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Just an overall amazing experience from start to finish. In a great neighborhood, Staff was so knowledgeable and friendly, ambiance was perfection and food was unreal. We were here for my hubby's bday and they made it so special. There was a nice champagne toast waiting for... More

As a foodie and a world traveler I can only say WOW. When one visits a restaurant and thinks about it weeks after, then you know it is something special. I highly recommend their chicken under a brick, which is their speciality, it is beyond words, so delicious and a very generous portion for two people to share. Duck whilst... More

We had dinner here on our last night of our stay in New York. Words can hardly describe the quality of the food we had. One recognizes the quality of the Chef in the way he prepares fish and both the Dover Sole as the Halibut were world class. We were advised to drink a white wine from the Basque... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighborhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighborhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighborhood home.
