Daughter and son-in-law picked this spot for a post-graduation dinner. Beyond delicious! 3 of us had amazing main courses- artic char...what a yummy sauce preparation, pink snapper- flaky, light and fine gastronomic fusion of flavor, husband enjoyed his duck. Son in law chose two appetizers instead of a main course- lobster with texas toast and ravioli. All very rich-lots of... More

Great ambiance, food, service, a must go! If you can, make sure you get Miriam as your waitress She is simply the best. While they are famous for many things, and at our table, we tried at least half of the menu, the Halibut is their main signature dish. There is a reason!! My son ordered the Halibut, and it... More

1.5 Had heard raving reviews on this place. But for me it was yet another higher-end let down. Loved the ambiance - brick walls and candlelight. Great for a date or groups since it's not a loud place. Chef Forgione was there in the kitchen carefully inspecting each dish before it was brought out. Started with pumpkin mimosa - tasted... More

We attempted a return visit to Marc Forgione tonight after an above-average dining experience last year. The initial experience with our "waiter" tonight was embarrassing (for him) and immediately soured any desire we might have had to fund their ridiculously overpriced and self-absorbed menu. We walked out before ordering. He started by taking 10+ minutes to greet us, then seemed... More

Went for birthday dinner and had tasting menu with wine pairings. At $99 plus$40+ for the wine it was a splurge. The Chili Lobster was great though could be too spicy for some..the Foie Gras in a jar was delicious...even if you dont think you like liver, you will love this! The Kampachi tartare was very good as was the... More

Had dinner there on a Friday evening. The wine list is interesting at best. Found the oyster appetizer to be so overloaded with toippings that the oyster flavor was totally lost. Had the Sea Bass entree that was excellent. We wanted to ask Marc about the wine list since wine is a hobby of ours and the server looked at... More

His name is on the napkins. His name is on the knives. His name is on the computer screen savers. If you're not sure who's in charge, you clearly need an eye doctor. Our plan for the weekend in NYC was to walk on the wild side one night and play it safe one night. Dinner at Marc Forgione in... More

This was an awesome treat! The drinks and food were incredibly unique and interesting. Flavors and texture combinations that were memorable. Chef Forgione was there carefully inspecting each and every dish as it left the kitchen. It was some of the best food I've ever had and the service was top notch. This will definitely be a must next time... More

The ambiance was great, but it not worth the money. Everything was too salty, salt on Foie gras, salt on bread, salt on chicken (60$ for half a chicken for two) ... We were disappointed of our experience and the service was just ok. Our best part of our experience was all the special drink they serve at the bar.... More
