We really enjoyed Craft. The restaurant is upscale food in a relaxed atmosphere -- we came in after sightseeing in shorts and t shirts, and the staff could not have been more gracious. The staff was very engaged, attentive, and knowledgeable. I loved how the menu is updated daily, so that it is not necessary to have specials. Every item is like a special, and every item is different. I had a beet salad that was extremely tasty. From appetizer to main course, we ate every morsel.

The staff at Craft were attentive, professional, and knowledgeable about the food and drink they serve. When we arrived for our 5:30 reservation, we were greeted by the hostess and invited to the bar for a drink before being seated. Highly recommend the Persia cocktail. Soon one of the hostesses seated us at the special anniversary table tucked away in... More

My Aunt took me here for my birthday and it was such a wonderful experience with the most delicious food. Cesar was the best server and the entire staff was so attentive and nice. The manger (I think she was from Maine) came over to talk to us and made us feel so welcomed as she was so down to... More

This was our first time to a Crafted Hospitality event. While we had been to Craft, Colicchio and Sons and Riverpark, we had not attended a specialty dinner and exceeded our expectations.(as usual with a Colicchio restaurant) We were welcomed with a Honey Dew Melon Bellini and the amazingly friendly service staff approached all the guests with tasty appetizers like,... When you go to top chef head judge Tom Colicchio’s restaurant you can expect 2 things. The best ingredients in the world perfectly prepared the way they are supposed to be. You won’t get a huge artistic flair (although the food does look awesome) but more of a meat and potatoes kind of place with high end everything. Fresh seafood,... More

We recently hosted a dinner for 10 people to celebrate a family member's 50th anniversary at Craft. The entire dining experience was fabulous. Our waiter, Cesar, did an amazing job guiding us through the menu with sound recommendations. We never felt rushed and the food was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant & look forward to returning!

We went to Craft for my wife's birthday. It was at their opening time and they we just starting, but lavished us with their attention. Cesar was our server and as the evening progressed it felt like we were very special to the staff and they took very good care of us. They brought wonderful food with lots of surprises... More

Last night we had the pleasure of dining for the first time with friends at this lovely farm to table restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was welcoming and accommodating. Unlike many high profile restaurants in the city that put on airs & make you feel as if they are doing you the favor of allowing you... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
