Amazing food and Excellent Service

The food is excellent. I had the sole which may be the best I ever had. The side dishes and salad (potatoes, broccoli, beet salad) were equally amazing - and it's difficult to truly distinguish side dishes. Craft does it. The service is spot-on-perfect from the moment you walk in the door. This... read more

The place is beautifully designed, the atmosphere was hype, and our waiter was very kind BUT, we waited a whole hour for the main course (a steak for 2) to arrive, seeing tables around us getting their courses, eating and leaving. By the time it finally arrived we were no longer hungry, so even though it was delicious, we did... More

This was our second visit to Craft. This time we came with friends and yet again we were not disappointed. The service was fabulous and the meal was tremendous. The portions were perfect. The whole experience was very enjoyable. Definitely a must repeat visit the next time we are in town.

We had chosen Craft from reviews on Tripadvisor and in Guide book so were looking forward to our evening. The restaurant was extremely busy but the service was first rate - we were always well looked after, but did not feel rushed. We had two appetisers to share between three of us and that was ample - our served advised... More

A nice warm atmosphere. We finally were able to get here on a trip to NYC. We had gotten a gift certificate a while back and finally able to use it. The staff was very attentive and professional. They even got an alternative amuse bouche for our daughter (4 1/2) when she didn't like the first one. We splurged and... More

I'm such a homer for this place, admittedly, but this place really is my ideal of what a perfect restaurant is. Nice but still comfortable - you feel like you are in a top restaurant but the soundtrack mixes between favorites from the 80s and 90s and more alternative from recent years. Not loudly - but enough so you can... More

Lovely spacious room, barman was very friendly Starters were radish and daikin salad topped with bortarga, and pasta topped with uni Main was local lamb sourced from Dorset, that we were informed was enough for 2, there were 3 cuts, of which only the rolled shoulder was good, the shank was mostly bone and fat, and the 3rd cute was... Had dinner here with my wife. Very friendly, efficient and knowledgable staff in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Food was fantastic and really lived up to making best use of seasonal produce. Careful you don't order too much as for fine dining these are big portions. Can recommend the belly pork starter, beets, chicken and the amazing mushrooms. Unsurprisingly it is... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
