The menu is limited and seems driven by what is available in the market. We shared an order of grilled quail to start with and then had rabbit loin and short ribs for mains. Preparations were simple but ingredients were first class, cooked perfectly, and gorgeously presented on copper platters. Potatoes gratin and roasted shiitakes were excellent although the asparagus... More

The food was delicious and the service was great...laid back and relaxed, very helpful but unobtrusive. The atmosphere was also very nice. It is our new favorite restaurant in New York.

One of the best meals I have ever had. The cocktails were incredible. We each had a starter (the carpaccio was amazing), a main dish, and also ordered three sides. They had told us each dish was sized for one and most people shared, and we simply couldn't just pick two sides. However, it was too much food. Also, everything... More

A wonderful place in NYC. We love de ambiance and the service is always good. The bar serves amazing cocktails. Food is very goog and have a very good wine list at reasonable prices. It is not strange to be seated next to a movie start or a famous model. If you are looking for something chic in an american... More

Booked this restaurant for dinner as recommended by Tripadvisor. The food was very good, but expensive. However the wine was outrageously expensive - wines start around $70 per bottle. No service charge added to bill so we gave a $55 tip only to be confronted by the waiter and informed that this was an insult to his service! I have never... More

I had dinner here one night during my recent trip to New York. The service and food were both excellent. I picked this restaurant due to a previous visit to CraftSteak in LAs Vegas where I had been very impressed. I made reservations through OpenTable and was called two day prior by Craft to confirm. I was ready to go... More

From the minute you walk in the door, you are treated as if you were there yesterday. Service is impeccable. Seated us at the table I requested through Open Table which I loved. Waitress suggested excellent wine selections that were off the menu and perfectly paired. Hamachi starter with meyer lemon was the perfect beginning to the meal. Braised short... More

Our drinks at the bar were outstanding. The bartender was very helpful and friendly. We had the El Greco and a Cosmo. The pork ravioli and octupus/harissa appetizers were good. The halibut and rabbit loin were just ok. However the side dishes were excellent. We tried the cauliflower, brussel sprouts and hen of the woods mushrooms. The restaurant staff was... More

Craft is a beautiful venue, and notably is bathed in sound-absorbing materials that really mute the hubbub from within this popular restaurant. The food was exceptional and our vegetarian friend found lots of choices. All courses are designed for sharing. Good selection of wines. Excellent anticipatory service. Highly recommended!
