Charming staff. Beautiful room. Nothing is too much. Food exceptional. Price is right. TIP: at lunch, don't let them sit you in the less spacious front section. This place deserves all the praise it gets.

Based on the consistently high TripAdvisor rankings as being one of the top dining experiences in the city, we decided to go to Collichio & Sons. Let me start with the good things first - 1) The decor is cool - high ceilings, a wine rack that extends from floor to ceiling dividing the Tap Room and the main Dining...

I took my wife here for her birthday and WOW! We were seated immediately, our window-side table had a great view of Highland Park and the food was simply outstanding. Don't leave NYC without visiting here!
Visited with our daughters to celebrate their 18th Birthdays. Staff supremely attentive and very knowledgeable sommelier. Restaurant had printed the girls names and the date on their menus and presented them as a momento - very thoughtful. Food was interesting and well presented but above all the cost - we were pleasantly surprised by the $100 per head bill -...

Great venue, right by our hotel. Nice $25 for 2 courses in the taproom for lunch, and you could pick starter and app, or starter and dessert.
Flavorful pizzas, tired the margherita and the pesto with mushroom. Mushroom had the edge bc it was different.
The ricotta cavatelli with beef cheek ragout....a decadent nap inducer. Great pasta dish.
Roasted skate...

The meal here was delicious. The mussels were the best I have ever eaten. I had the skate and my girlfriend had the coffee rubbed brisket. Both were absolutely full of flavor and left us savoring every bite.
We went here to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary and we did not regret it. I informed the restaurant in advance about this being our anniversary in hopes that they would arrange for us a nice seating. Well they went beyond that by printing a special menu with the date and a congratulatory for our 2nd anniversary, it went...

We are from DC and decided to try Colicchio and Sons after a walk on the highline. It was a truly fantastic experience. We went with the seasonal menu along with the wine pairing. It was fun to just sit back and let each course show up with a wine specifically selected for each. Edward ran the entire service like...

The restaurant opens for dinner at 5 pm but we arrived at 4:20 pm because of rain and thunderstorm. Meet a young waiter who has nothing against us to wait at the table inside. Next a manager has come, an afro-american lady, who refused us to wait at the table. So we had to wait standing in the lobby. Sad...

My wife and I had an amazing dinner at Colicchio and Sons. The atmosphere is great, and the service was impeccable. Our server was flawless in his attention to us. We had the tasting menu, and it was worth every penny. The chef started with two amuse bouche and then a 4-course menu, which was to die for. The restaurant...
