Incredible Dining Experience

After dining at Beachcraft in Miami Beach three weeks ago and having an amazing experience, I had to try Colicchio & Sons in NYC. I had called in advance to request a nice table for a birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived until we walked out the door, the entire experience was incredibly... read more

The brisket was very, very salty. The service was great, but the food was not what I expected in taste. Quality of meat was great, but tasted as if a salt shaker was opened and poured on it. Two bites and I was finished. Service was good. Atmosphere was nice.

We picked Colicchio and Sons carefully, through the reviews of people online and of papers such as NY Times. We liked the menu and were looking forward to our meal. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not come anywhere close to meeting our expectations. The food was, in our opinion, poor. We like to think our palates are refined enough to... More

Our server, Jennifer was excellent, informative and efficient. I had the bay romaine salad and the duck, my wife did the Beef tartare and monkfish. All were wonderful. Be aware that the menu is all small plates and you need two to three for dinner. Wonderful experience, will definitely go back.

Highly recommended, this restaurant stays on Chelsea, NYC. The environment is OK, clean decoration, not too fancy. While reading the menu the waiter warned us that they offer "appetizer portions", in a nutshell, scarce food ammount. It happens that the prices attain levels similar to the most luxurious restaurants in town. At the menu it is clarified that the restaurant... More

I ordered tasting menu. Nothing to complain. Average experience. At that price or at slightly more, there are better places in Manhattan

Had an amazing new years dinner with my family. Was greeted with vintage champagne, the food and service was first class. Most expensive dinner in my life but also unforgettable.

Looks like a very grand executive dining restaurant from the outside however, once you look a little closer you can clearly see through the cracks! We ordered the burger and a pizza. The burger arrived dripping with fat pouring out with onion juice which of course made the bun soggy. It came with very greasy, very strange hand made 'deep... More

Three of us went for brunch and loved it. Everything was great. The ingredients and descriptions are so simple but the flavors are amazing. The poached eggs and sweet potato hash and brioche pain perdu were our favorites entrees, but the bacon -- omg the bacon -- was out of this world smokey delicious. I am still thinking about it... My husband and I always look for a special place to celebrate our Anniversary. We chose Colicchio and Sons for our 41st. The atmosphere was upscale and festive, the menu interesting, and the service impeccable. I had pasta with lamb bolognese and my husband had poached lobster with Brussels sprouts. We shared the beet salad. The food and wine were... More
