I ate here with 3 friends while in NYC to celebrate our 50th birthdays. I did not book the restaurant, but looked at the menu online before we went and was a bit reluctant. I am not that adventerous and the menu did not appeal to me. Once we got there, I knew I was in trouble. The prices were... More

There were 4 of us and we shared 2 servings each of 4 appetizer servings: green and white asparagus, charred octopus, soft shell crab, and duck pastrami. Each was perfect in its own way. The charred octopus was so tender. Service was attentive but unobtrusive, just the way you want it. This is a place where you can carry on... More

This was not the first time I had eaten in C&Sons, or a Colicchio restaurant for that matter, but it was by far our best experience. The difference? The service. Chef Colicchio cares about service, don't get me wrong, but he clearly must have sensed that the service here was not always predictably sensational as it is at other comparable... More

While looking for another restaurant nearby, we happened upon Colicchio & Sons. I have not always been thrilled with the Craft brand establishments so would not have chosen this place, but my feet were tired, the restaurant had an available table and we walked right in. I was so greatly rewarded for the decision to enter. The small plates style... More

I had dinner here tonight with 8 other people. Business dinner. The food was excellent. Some dishes were amazing. The issue? The service. It was between fair and rude. It took 20 min for the sommelier to talk to us. Took another 15 min to get our first bottle of wine. We had to beg for each additional bottle. The... More

We celebrated our 49th anniversary at Colicchio & Sins TP Room. We were seated at a window table with a nite on it congratulating us, & a menu printed wishing us happy anniversary. The food was delicious, service excellent & the entire staff so welcoming. We chose the tap room because the menu was more appealing & it is less... More

Wonderful birthday dinner! Greeted at the door and wished a happy birthday after giving my name. Sat at the bar to have a drink prior to sitting, a server arrived with some amazing olive biscuit things (not sure what they are but I might be having dreams about them). Waiter was very knowledgeable, helped us order. Cocktails were magnificent. We... More

We came here for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Sophisticated. Upscale but not pretentious. Wonderful service - not too obtrusive and open to our questions. The menu is very unique. Each serving us appetizer-sized so you can choose numerous options to get a wide range of flavors without busting your belt. I had the fluke, ravioli,... More

Our waiter Alex was fabulous. Very friendly, efficient and attentive. We had the butter lettuce and kale salads, both good. My husband had the seafood chowder which he said was delicious and I had the roasted chicken, which I found to be quite salty. The food overall was quite good, but not as fantastic as I was expecting, given Tom... More
