The food items I ordered were very good. If you like a meatball sub, it might be worth a try for you.

After having some very disappointing meatballs at Carmine's, I wasn't expecting these to be much better. Surprisingly, they were pretty good. We ended up getting the mini sandwiches, which were fine for my daughter and myself, but my husband could eat them in one bite. I wouldn't recommend these for the guys, but they're perfect for the ladies if you're... More

Who knew there could be so much variety in meatballs. We all picked something different and no one was disappointed. Thank goodness our son knew that we were supposed to fill in our order on our menus, otherwise we might have looked like dumb tourists, LOL. I will be going back for more on my next trip to NYC.

We wandered by and saw this spot. Sat on the patio and we all had different stuff and shared. Everything I tried was delicious and we also asked for recos on what sauce with what meatball. Our server was really great at giving us ideas and we were very pleased for a great price. Stand our favourite would be the... More

You pick your choice of meatballs (including veggie ones), your sauce and your sides and you are ready for a delicious treat. The food is tasty, freshly made and very good value for money. The service was excellent and friendly. It stays open late if you want a good meal after bar hopping.

Meatballs - average, too much breading - I am not a fan of breadcrumb coated meatballs. Salad was very good. Would go again - fun atmosphere, good value, will stick to salads - no meatballs.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat while walking through the neighborhood. Quaint atmosphere, great antiques all around and tight seating. My lunch date loved the beef meatballs with red sauce and the polenta. I thought everything was just good. Meatballs a bit too soft for my liking. Good value for your money though.

Staying at West Village with so many restaurants to choose I decided to visit The Meatball Shop since I heard really good things and a friend recommended it. Few blocks and we arrived to the place. Really nice location and easy to get there. The service was great from the beginning. Great atmosphere and vibe. I ordered the spicy pork... More

This is a truly fabulous addition to NYC's restaurant scene. The food is great, reasonably priced and the place is fun to go to! The meatballs are to die for, especially the spicy pork with mozzarella and tomato sauce. The polenta could be eaten by the quart, it is so good!! There are veggie "balls" as well. And they have...
