It was one of the restaurants i wanted to visit while in New York. So a late night dinner that was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the location was very covenient. a small cosy place, just around the corner from where we were staying In LES. Lucky us!

Just recently was back in NYC staying at the Rivington Hotel and set out to go to the Meatball Shop. Had heard wonderful things about it, and hoped it would be great! There were no tables (hard to get in to), but miraculously there were enough seats at the bar! I ordered the spicy pork with tomato sauce over rigatoni... More

I had chicken meatballs with mushroom gravy and white beans. The balls were just okay. The beans would have been delicious if they had been cooked longer as they were tough and some were crunchy. The waiter never asked how my meal was so I suppose I should have said something. May give it another try and order the beef... More

Absolutely delicious! Our group had a variety: chicken, spicy pork, beef. All fantastic! The mushroom sauce is especially good, too!

Watched an infa garden show before a recent New York trip. She recommended so we went. What a surprise. Great food, great service, great choice and best of all great price...it only took 10 mins from Times Square on the underground...make the effort and I know you will be pleased you did.

Mhmm spicy pork Meatballs with the Parmesan cream sauce on a bed of polenta and a side of spinach. WOAH, flavors pop! I usually get their fresh made lemonade and each one I've gotten were so goood. To end the madness, you gotta get their HUGE homemade ice cream sandwich! I like their daily special cookie/ice cream, oatmeal raisin, ginger... More

The balls are delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and I love all the options on the menu. Wish I was in New York longer so I could try out another combination. Save some space for the amazing ice cream sandwiches too - you won't regret it.

This place was 2 blocks from the Ludlow Hotel where we were staying - what a great choice for dinner! The restaurant is tiny, seats about 20 people with counter space. We ordered the special, which were 4 pizza meatballs, with traditional tomato sauce with a side of mashed potatoes, and the beef meatball smash. Both were fantastic, very reasonably... More

Like all popular New York restaurants, The Meatball Shop is busting at the seams with diners, so expect a short wait. Four balls (beef, spicy pork, chicken or veggie) with sauce, (tomato, spicy, mushroom, parmesan or pesto) come with parmesan and foccacia bread for $8! Sides can sit under or next to your balls (pardon the pun but this is... More

It can't be the food. The food is nice but nothing special and I have had better meatballs at most Italian homes. The balls we had were tough and overcooked although the taste was fine. The place was filled with young people and the tab for dinner was very small. This is a nice alternative to spending $100 or even... More
