Perfect place to go for a quick meaty fix. The choice of flavours to choose from was pretty broad and you didn't have to totally carb overload as there was a veggie/salad option instead of the regular carb options. Great on a hangover though! Don't go if you don't like sharing tables with other people though - they cram you... More

It's what it is, inexpensive meal, not the healthiest but who can always eat healthy? Fine for a quick snack also.

We ate at both the Greenwich/west village location and the Brooklyn location and both were really good. Good prices, good ambience, good food. What more could you want?

My boyfriend and I recently had lunch at The Meatball Shop near the Tenement Museum. We just happened upon it, and we're glad we did. It was a refreshing change of pace for lunch, at least in the eyes of us Minnesotans. We were seated immediately, and our waiter was great - very efficient and friendly. The meatballs were good,... Wanted a quick bite before visiting the Tenement Museum, this spot was perfect. fun menu, with wipe off marker check off your meatball choice, then the sauce - sandwich, pasta or solo. We shared beef with mushroom sauce and chicken with Pesto - both scrumptious, and the sides were yummy too. Seating was crowded, family style, but seemed perfect in... More

Nothing really great but the idea of being in a place where there is only meatballs is good for children. Also the way the menu works with the water markers is fun for them. Will come back.

We arrived at 11:00. Beware this place doesn't open until noon. We waited around in the neighborhood which is kinda shady but trust me this place is worth the visit! Very casual environment. The food is amazing. Modern music plays a bit loud. The place fees like it's been here for years. The meatballs are amazing and so are the... More

Can't fault it - a refreshing change to the usual NYC fodder on the tourist trail. Delicious meatballs - served how you want them - in a bun, with pasta, with salad... great wine. Amazing ice cream/cookie sandwich.
