Average breakfast, nothing special. Had the pancakes for 8.95..just three pancakes with no meat. The corned beef hash tasted like it came from a can and they just slapped it on the grill for a minute. We paid $40 for a $15 breakfast at best. We are used to paying New York City prices but this felt like a total... More

What a great find! When hubby suggested it I had my doubts but walked in to a lovely little surprise. All the great things you expect in a diner. We sat at the small counter (as we often do) and had great friendly quick service and a generously sized breakfast. It's located on a block with a number of nice... More

Great spot for breakfast or lunch with all the traditional NYC fare. Serving are HUGE - didn't need any lunch that day, and barely needed dinner either !

Had a quick breakfast hear one day and just picked up a couple of muffins to take back to the hotel. I thought the prices were very reasonable, especially for NYC. I don't know about the other meals, but I would recommend it for a good quick breakfast stop in the city.

Meatloaf for lunch was reheated from the refrigerator. Might be good for breakfast. Unthrilled by lunch.

The food was average good, the service was better and the prices were ok for New York (a bit expensive most other places). It was next door to the hotel so we ate there several times. It is not a destination, but it was convenient.

Stumbled on this place 10 years after the first visit and the breakfast was just as I remembered it. Tasty, good size and visually appealing (see my review of Oxford Cafe not too far away). Proper cutlery and plates, coffee even tasted like well coffee! Service is brisk, not unfriendly or rude just brisk. Spent my breakfast idly eating and... More

Ate here twice during our stay. Reasonably priced. Great service. Busy and popular. Recommended for breakfast.

A wonder hidden gem that serves amazing breakfasts and lovely choice of dinners. The service was super quick and the staff were very friendly. If you are staying at a hotel near by then this is a definately a place to try out.

This diner was recommended by the concierge at the Waldorf Astoria and didn't disappoint 2 first time visitors to the Big Apple. I got a great buzz ordering eggs over easy and the food was generous in its portions and well cooked. The corned beef hash as a side dish was awesome. The diner has a great energy about it.... More
