Was visiting the city weekend of April 10th and wanted a restaurant in Times Square and I found this place on Trip Advisor. Had great reviews, and I do agree with the great location of the restaurant, however, the food was greasy and overall nothing great. We needed a table for 4 and were seated right away. It did take... ...and so glad we did! Ate here on our last day in Manhattan and our lunches filled us up until well after we took off on our flight home at 10pm that night. Food was lovely (the menu said their burger had been voted the best in the city, and I can see why!) and the staff were also very... More

So, don't be fooled by the name. We went in, expecting a diner, with diner style pricing. Not the case at all. $25 chicken pot pie. $18 bowl of soup. $11 milk shake. That being said, the portions are huge. The service is friendly and fast. And the food is unreal good!! I am not sure I'd go again, simply... More

We ate here before a show this week. We didn't have a lot of time so we wanted to eat near the theater. We were disappointed. Two of us had the turkey sandwich, one of them was under cooked. (yuk!) The pastrami spring roll was pretty good. The menu was overpriced, $26 for a burger!! Service was very S-L-O-W and... More

Had lunch here on our last day in New York - having already visited the other Brooklyn Diner on 57th St, we decided to have our last meal here! The award winning burger was lovely & the pastrami was really good! Only down side was that even though we booked, we had to wait a while to be seated -... More

The staff were friendly and attentive. The portions were large and well cooked although the wait was considerable. The only downside was the stifling heat inside there. They opened an emergency exit after several complaints from patrons. Air conditioning?

This was part of our trip to NYC for NYE. Although it was very crowded, we received excellent service! The food was also very, very good. Will return!!
