We stopped by the restaurant as we were in Times Square and wanted to stay close by until the lights went on. Little did we know we had stepped into one of the more expensive restaurants in the area. $23.00 for a Pastrami Sandwich that was average. Same price for a mediocre bowl of mac and cheese. I'm willing to... More

We ate here twice on our stay in NYC. Very good breakfast. We both had eggs, fruit, and bagel. Not a greasy diner. Very upscale diner. It is expensive, but most everything is in the city.

We came to at here on the recommendation that they do the best breakfast in New York. Unfortunately we just missed breakfast but decided to wait a little while and have lunch instead. The service was good and the food was amazing. It's true that the foods a bit pricey but we didn't eat again for the whole day because... More

Food was good. Restaurant was clean. Staff was attentive. But just remember to bring your wallet - it was expensive.

Located near our hotel and Times Square, we were looking for a traditional American diner for breakfast and the Brooklyn Diner seemed to fit the bill. It was busy for a winter morning but we were seated on arrival. The service was friendly and efficient. My omelette was very tasty and filling, and I chose bottomless brewed coffee and freshly-squeezed... More

We ate here after originally planning to eat at the Hard Rock Café which was just too busy! Partner ordered chicken parmigiana which he absolutely loved. I ordered pastrami cheeseburger and fries which was fine; fries could have been fresher but it was ok. Good atmosphere. Beer good. Good experience. Very pricey, but in Times Square what do you expect?

Service was outstanding and the food was great. Not cheap, but worth it for the ambience and service.

This diner is well placed as it is situated close to Times Square. Nevertheless we were able to be seated immediately at one of the busiest times of the day/week (When there was a wait time of getting on for one hour at the nearby Hard Rock Cafe), and the food and service were simply superb. The food is straightforward... More

We went for dinner and found the place to be very nicely decorated... It had a classic 50's feeling to it. The food was good but way overpriced!

The Cuban chicken was delicious and perfectly cooked. The Diner's famous chicken pot pie lived up to its reputation. We loved the look of the place with miles of tile and stainless steel. Server Adam was friendly, informative, and attentive. We'll be back when we return to the city.
