We wanted to experience an authentic diner. The building is authentic but we found that the food didn't feel very diner authentic. It was trendy and quite expensive.

I spied this place after a long walk, and early start, which took me up to Central Park and then down along Seventh Avenue toward Times Square. I was weary and hungry and thought I'd give this place a try. I was happy I did so. The staff were friendly, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and there was... More

Food size is HUGE! Famous for Chicken Pot Pie. Too buttery for my liking. Chicken noodle soup is good. We also tried the salad platter which comes with pita bread & hummus.

After a show, we stopped in to get a late bite, and we happened into a really nice place. Diners are all over New York, but we had not eaten dinner before an early show and were hungry. We had some cheesecake -- two kinds -- a piece of coconut cake and a piece of their kugel, which is one... More

I'm not usually the kind of person who repeats where I eat when I travel, but the last day we were in a hurry and my niece wanted one last egg cream soda, so we stopped in here. The first time, we had dinner here, as it was next door to our hotel. It was a little on the expensive... More

We met family here for brunch on a Saturday morning. We were seated quickly and greeted by a nice server. The menu is a bit pricey but ,after all, it is located in Times Square. My husband and I both had pancakes (the regular and the blueberry buckwheat). They were both tasty and the portion was large. The restaurant was... More

There is really nothing to recommend this place other than its location in the theatre district. The food is mediocre and way, way over-priced. Try somewhere else.

We have eaten at Diner for five years and always loved the food. Returned this year and they changed the menu and quality dropped. No more fried cheese (was on of the best in ny), removed the pizzas and the meatball was some large that was cooked perfectly and they changed to 3 regular size that was overlooked. The desserts... The Brooklyn Diner was recommended by our hotel concierge and what a great recommendation it was! Our first visit was for breakfast which consisted of Strawberry pancakes and Blueberry pancakes. Both were delectable however, more strawberries would have been great. They also offer you a jug of maple syrup, which is sickly, but amazing! We also went for lunch on... More

Was shown to a booth and when we went to sit down, the seat had food spilt on it from the previous clients. The manager brushed it off but not much of an apology. Next the beer lines aren't working so no draught beer. Then there was a few things not available that were on the menu. Ordered a glass... More
