Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tasting menus are available Monday through Sunday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a two-course lunch menu for a terrific value. Gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed. Tie is not required.

Lovely decor, perfect food, take the gastronomic menu, not cheap but well worth it. The service is swift an efficient, table a little bit to near to each other. Waiters sometimes do not listen to you...., when asked if there was alergies, a couple at the table was not eating pork and what do we get with our canapes... a... More

We had the tasting lunch menu which is a great for the value. The searedbeeftenderloin was spectacular. The tuna and ravioli for starter were an incredible explosion of flavor. If you want to have a memorable lunch in the city I highly recommend it.

You can easily spend $200 (tax and tip included) for lunch for 2 persons here but the food is wonderful. We dined at Michelin star restaurant, Le Bernardin and I thought the taste of the food here was so much better. The 2 course lunch for 2 was $96 and Hubby ordered 2 dishes which had additional charges on top... More

We celebrated our anniversary here one night and chose two different tasting menus classic and summer. The foods in generally were excellent with stunning presentation. Each dish came out as little jewels with beautiful display of shapes and colors. Some dishes were better for sure but that was partially personally as one of us don't like red meat. A few... More

This was an unforgettable experience in NYC. It has been awhile since I was there, but I still remember the service, wine and amazing French food. True experts in the world of restaurant service, fantastic decor and a way to feel like a millionaire even for just a night. Take a special someone, you won't regret it!

Located in the Trump International Hotel, this Michelin 3 star restaurant is another must try in NYC. Last try was in 2010, while this try was lunch last week with partners. Great place to conduct business, every little detail was attended to from food and service. One of the best chef of the world and frankly comparable to Paul Bocuse,... More

I was a little worried about eating here as usually eating at a Michelin star restaurant I feel a bit out of place, usually the youngest there and not quite used to the whole fine dining experience and atmosphere, however, I love good food and the quality of the food more than makes up for that. We were two couples... More
