Description: Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tasting menus are available Monday through Sunday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a two-course lunch menu for a terrific value. Gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed. Tie is not required.

I've been to a few 3stars, and this one blew me away! Every dish that came with the tasting menu was better than the one before! This is what makes a 3 star! The service was amazing, and surprisingly laid back and easy to talk to but very professional. I will try the steak house in Vegas next! Can't wait!

I've been to Jean Georges many times, and it is consistently one of the best meals I have had. It's seasonal tasting menu and it's changing decor, are underwritten by the always amazing meals and creations by Jean George at his main restaurant. This is what a Michelin 3 star restaurant is supposed to be - an experience, something you... More

What can I say--this flagship restaurant of a world famous chef fully lives up to all expectations (including expectations that nothing this good comes cheaply!). Three Michelin stars on the wall next to the entrance are absolutely warranted. We had the classic tasting menu with superb wine pairings. Come prepared for a wonderful experience, and be sure your credit limit... More

Located at the Trump Hotel, the entrance is awfull because you have to cross through a noise and confused bar of the hotel. However inside the restaurant the ambiento is silent and the staff service excellent. The food is presented in a price fixes menu with a variety of dishes to all tastes. The somellier is very professional and help... More

On our recent holiday trip to NYC, my partner and I decided that we would try at least one top Michelin starred restaurants in this great city. I chose Jean Georges as it looked pretty decent and the least expensive among the other 3-Michelin starred restaurants in New York city. We booked a table for lunch on a Sunday and... More

I mean it's Jean Georges! Of course it was amazing! The wait staff was very very sweet, efficient and knowledgeable. We went during lunch and felt it was very fairly priced out, wine list included. The food was out of this world good! It was beautifully presented with great innovative flavors and ingredient combinations. The decor and build out is... More

Surprised a friend for his 65th birthday here and what a wonderful time we had. The food, ambiance, it's a special place for a special occasion. Meal is not rushed and courses are served with such grace (only word I can think of to describe it). A grand eating experience.
