Description: Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tasting menus are available Monday through Sunday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a two-course lunch menu for a terrific value. Gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed. Tie is not required.

Went here a couple of times. The food was great & the portion was just enough, not too small, not too big. The Terrace is a perfect place to dine, drink, & hangout, we could talk easily because it was not too noisy. The ginger margarita is the best, you must try!!

We were greeted by a hostess who could not seem to care less. This experience, however, is kind of expected in New York (though I wish everyone would step their game up). That being said, we were very satisfied with our seat and the decor and lighting is classy and pleasant. Our waiter was professional, and our first course was... More

We heard so much about this restaurant that we decided to treat ourselves! It is in the Trump Hotel at Columbus Circle. The inside is very nice and the service is flawless, but too exaggerated for our taste: every moment almost somebody would walk by to ask if we like it, if we need anything, to add a drop of... More

Was recommend by many friends who live in the states. Heard it was super expensive so I decided to go for lunch. Reservation needed. I had the chef menu was about 200 dollars + per person. The setting and taste of each dishes was great. Have a try if you have time in NYC.

I brought my wife and 9 yr old daughter for a lunch date to celebrate a family event. Maximizing the experience, we grabbed the 3 course meal with each taking a unique dish so we get to taste. The Santa Barbara Sea Urchin with jalapeno and yuzu is very delicate, flavorful and exquisite. Yellow fin Tuna Ribbons with ginger marinate... More

Four of us went for lunch at Jean Gorges in December. We were in a bit of a rush so we decided to take eat at the Bar instead of going to the more fine dinning area. Still the place was absolutely delicious, every dish was prepared sublime, the service was very good and I loved the fact that you... More

- Did the tasting menu. Very delicious. - The chef did an amazing job adapting the tasting menu to accommodate my allergies. - The flavors of each dish were exceptional and often you were suggested to take one element and pair it with the others in a specific order - it certainly made the flavours pop. - Service was perfect... Stopped in on a Saturday for a cocktail before touring Central Park. Best cocktail I've ever had. Bartender was very professional and drinks were NYC prices. Beautiful restaurant located in the Trump Hotel. Would stop by again to relax and have a drink.
