The food is good. The service is superb. I've been here twice for business lunches and I can't get enough of the atmosphere.
For what you pay, I expected to be blown away by creative dishes expertly executed. I was disappointed. The food was good for sure, but not amazing. I don't know how this place has three Michelin stars.
There simply are no words in the English language to describe Jean Georges. A well deserved Michelin 3 star Make a reservation, Be Respectful, Dress well. Sit down and be prepared to graze on a mouth symphony Like you will rarely experience in your lifetime. All done. Good bye

Stunnig food from start to finish. My wife and I really enjoyed the ambiance and the level of the service. We will try and make it back again in the future for sure!
We wanted just a snack before the theatre so stopped in here. Seated at the bar we had delicious shrimp salads with bread that was fab! Had a little extra time so we shared a lemon crepe cake. The restaurant is beautiful, very comfortable, and though it is very elegant, it is not intimidating. The food was perfectly prepared, very fresh, and flavorful. The waitstaff was extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. We never had to ask for a thing- it just arrived on time.
We disliked nothing but the prices are high. There are 2 versions, one dressy and the other not. The menus are different but they are essentially in different parts of the same room.
It was our fifth visit and the standards remain high. We are continually impressed by the unique and wide ranging offerings which bring us back time after time. We'd recommend to anyone.
Jean Georges has an luxury atmosphere, an extraordinary menu and a very good wine list (if possible, try the Corison 2010). We had a marvelous dinner and, certainly, will come back on our next trip to NYC.
