Description: Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tasting menus are available Monday through Sunday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a two-course lunch menu for a terrific value. Gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed. Tie is not required.

Surprised a friend for his 65th birthday here and what a wonderful time we had. The food, ambiance, it's a special place for a special occasion. Meal is not rushed and courses are served with such grace (only word I can think of to describe it). A grand eating experience.

Was an anniversary celebration but no one made a big deal out of it, except my wait staff, who saw me give my wife a presernt out the cake just to add to the celebration. Talk about service! I am not going into details about the food, which is simply exquisite and everyone raves about this place but the attention... More

Ah Jean Georges, I have been waiting forever to try you and you did not disappoint me. Jean Georges is located on the ground floor of Trump tower, just off Columbus Circle and with close access to Central Park. The reception area was a little plain for such a fine establishment. Behind two tinted double doors sits a polished modern... More

Celebrated my birthday with my family and had lunch at Jean-Georges. Could not have picked a better place. Everything was perfect! The place, the table, the food, the drinks and last but not least the service. I felt like a royalty! I am so happy I booked lunch at this place!

This is cooking on the highest level this restaurant-goer has ever experienced. Just magnificent. Service is also great, and the one list has got a nice range of good wines. The room is beautiful. No words can describe this place!

Expensive but JG is the best restaurant I've been to? Service, food and ambiance was superb. A delightful anniversary dinner. We had a great team who took care of us. Nice selection of special cocktails and wine by the glass. Great four course dinner. If you are looking for a special night out, JG is the best restaurant, I found... More

A simply stunning space with intimate alcoves. My husband and I thought that our table was absolute perfection - tons of privacy and yet still able to enjoy the lively buzz of the restaurant. Service was top notch - the entire team was beyond amazing. After I expressed my new found love of the jalapeno fritters (heavenly!!) -- four more... More

The breakfast we had here was amazing! The juices were fresh and all of the ingredients in our items were top notch. The salmon that was served with my bagel was as fresh as any I have had. We live nearby but had friends in town. Definitely a great place for out-of-towners as it is located across from the park.... More
