Description: This authentic Italian restaurant is a secret in the heart of New York! Great food for a small price, Carbone Ristorante Italiano offers unique, delicious specials every day. We have the best attentive staff, outstanding food in a cozy, romantic environment that reminds you of the streets of Rome. The pizza is fantastic, but our pasta is even better!! Adelina, our chef from Naples, prepares a homemade ravioli each morning. Each course is delicately prepared to perfection. We have delicious wines from different Italian Regions and a fully stoked bar. End your night of with a nice shot of Limoncello, the original Southern Italian after-dinner liquor. So remember Carbone Ristorante Italiano for your Birthday, Anniversary, or just on a night out with family or friends! Truly the best value in Hell's Kitchen.

Went in based on reviews and was very disappointed. Food was only mediocre; I ordered the fettucini with speck and the pasta was clearly not fresh. That in and of itself wasn't so bad, but the service was non-existent. Even though I came in way before the dinner rush, it took 15 minutes to be waited on and I had... More

Loved my meal tonight! This small restaurant only has a few tables. We ate at the bar, which was fine for "just showing up" without a reservation. My ravioli special was so tasty. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely eat here again. Very convenient midtown location too!

I had read reviews before our visit to NY and decided this would be a good example of an authentic NY Italian restaurant so I emailed a week in adavance asking to make a reservation and recieved a reply saying yes and to advise of dates and times etc which I duly did and made the reservation, I received another... We went here as it was close to our hotel and had space to fit us in. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious and the steak just melted in the mouth. The waiters were friendly and obliging. The only downsides were the wine was a bit pricey at $40 a bottle plus tax and the restaurant is quite... More

Visited this restaurant with some family. Extremely small and couldn't even move in our chairs. It took over an hour for our food to arrive and I didn't really like the special ravioli once it came out. The staff even had trouble moving between tables and at one point one of the staff poured liqueur down my brothers back trying... More

It is very small....my husband was not given a menu and had to ask for one 10 minutes after we were seated. The fish I would rate a 3 but the gnocchi a 2! The Soup lacked flavor, the bread served wasn't warm, and wasn't accompanied by spread or butter. Before our food came out we smelled some type of... More

This is a little gem we found by mapping it out on our iPhone. The front doesn't look appealing but the food was very good with attentive service. We ate at the bar as it was packed and would recommend reservations as it's a long and narrow restaurant which only seats about 20 people. Great Italian bread. If you want... More

This very small and unimposing restaurant had the best Italian food I have had outside of Italy. Three of us dined there last night. Our server was Sas and she told us about ravioli specials which we orderred along with linguini and clams and the Caprese salad. The tomatoes are imported from Italy and are so tasty even in December.... More

I was refered to Carbone by the lobby host (?) at the Element, to meet up with a friend from high school and have dinner. Loved the old school feel. Our server was handsome. Food was great, but made the mistake of not paying attention to the prices (remember, I'm from Indy). It was almost $100 bucks for two of... More
