small store, not that much of variety and nothing special really. I though given the nice concept that it was going to be better.

Very interesting little place...understated. The Crack Pie is delicious and the Birthday cake looks great...but didn't try it.

If you're looking for some unique, tasty sweets that push the boundaries of what dessert should be, look no further. Everything I've tried here has been delicious, from the cereal milk ice cream and compost cookie to the crack pie and birthday cake truffles. If you go this August, you can also try their crack pie in the form of... More

We've been admiring Christina Tossi for years so this was a must-do. You may ask why do serious foodies stand in line for a small scoop of ice-cream and some cereal. Well, you must visit yourself to understand - no words can describe the awesomeness of the Milk Bar. If I was living in NYC, I would be a regular...... More

Their ice cream has a salty flavor in it, but that is what make it so special, and I would love to try their ice cream again and again. Their cereal milk shake is good, too!!!

Me and a friend tried the compost cookie, b'day cake truffles, and german chocolate jimbo truffles. The compost cookie was yummy but I didn't really taste all the different components--the chips totally got lost, and I was wanting that salty bit of flavor. It just didn't live up to its hype. The truffles on the other hand were amazing and... More

OMG. I didn't want ice cream and friends insisted I try it. Next thing you know I am standing on the street on a super hot day with a soft serve something eating it like a wild animal:) It's unbelievably good!! I also loved the small portion. It's just the right amount. I can't wait to go back to New... More

Tried this after recommendation from friends. We had the Crack Pie and the Grasshopper Pie. Both were nice but Crack is very sweet, Grasshopper was more refreshing due to the minty flavour. We were told by the lady behind the counter (who was lovely) that we could eat in the bar behind the shop which we did. However I think... More

After hearing so much about this place I decided to try it out, and was very disappointed. I got the strawberry milkshake, and literally there was no redeeming quality about the shake. $6 for a strawberry shake that doesn't even taste good??? I don't think so. The service was really, really bad. The cashier was grumpy and not friendly at... More

Wandered down for breakfast one day and was really disappointed. The cookies were very doughy and served in plastic bags (made them soggy), everything else was very salty. I visited after seeing them on the recent top 10 bakeries in NYC list and was so disappointed
