Trendy ice cream!

Such a trendy ice cream store. Not far from fifth avenue, definitely makes for a great stop in. Got the soft serve with choc chips. Even in winter, it was great.

Under the milk bar there is the restaurant.. We went there for a sunday brunch, not being able to get in any other of Chang's places. The formula was the dim-sum one, with new food arriving every 10 minutes. Excellent quality. But definetly get the pork buns, they taste like heaven!

I love this trendy dessert store! I expected it to be overrated but the crack pie lived up to its name. It was so addictive that I'm dreaming about having them on my next trip to NYC. The cereal milk soft serve with caramel cornflakes was delicious too.

In love with the soft serve. So milky bit salty with the Corn flakes around. Ive only tried the soft serve but I saw they had cookies milkshakes even cakes will definitely go back for more.

We were looking for this place and couldn't find it! It's tucked away and stealthily hidden, but nothing was going to keep me from sampling the renowned "Crack Pie". Whilst I was there I couldn't resist the Compost Cookie either. Crack Pie was great, don't go over the top though, it's super sweet.

For some reason I expected this place to be booming! However, it was just me and just a little store along a street, nothing to draw attention to it! The cookies were great, had a huge selection and fun and friendly service. Would recommend for a good pick me up!

Seriously, skip Shake Shack, and come here. The crack pie soft serve is one of my new favorites. I will definitely be back to buy and actual pie. I also had a corn cookie, which was better than I could have expected.

Stumbled across the milk bar while walking around the LES. Stump town coffee was a familiar roaster so we tried a cookie and desert. Both good, not exceptional. Convenient if you are close but only an average experience with the location. Only so much you can do with 200 sq ft.

After demolishing our food at Vanessa's Dumplings I thought it might be best to grab dessert before jumping back onto the CitiBikes. Around the block was Momofuku Milk. I had no idea what it was, but thought I had heard of the Momofuku name before. When we walked up they were pretty busy, so I figured it was a decent... More

Cramped space and less than friendly staff to begin with...(cramped as in you can barely even turn around to get out the door). Cereal milk ice cream was average at best (tasted sour to me), cookie was way overrated and the crack pie is essentially the same thing that Paula Deen has been making for decades--ooey gooey butter cakes--just in... Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
