Stopped for lunch. Small menu but nicely cooked tasty food. Drinks were good but pricey. Service was attentive and you get free iced water.

We were in the seaport area and wanted to eat outside, trying something unusual. The drinks were delicious as were the sweet potato fries (best ever, we thought). Only thing was a hair in the meat pie I ordered. Apparently they are made in an authentic New Zealand bakery. The restaurant replaced it immediately and the chicken pie I had... More

Good ambience and helpful, friendly staff. The food was great although the menu was slightly confusing with large appertizers and small entrees and vice versa. I had an excellent squid with vegetables. Very tasty and healthy. This was followed by salad with chicken pie. Excellent pie but pretty small. It might be that this is a tapas style venue. My... I've been going here for years. Even after it was battered by hurricane sandy it's back and just as good. Food great, beer selection spot on and a nice selection of wine (although more NZ wine on the menu would be good). The owner Pauly knows how to run a bar so it's a regular drinking hole for me when... More

Large open windows give the place a really airy and bright feel, it was so nice not to be sitting in an enclosed restaurant with air con. We were a party of 4 adults and 5 kids and we sat on a long raised table with bar stools, it was fab. The lunch menu had loads of tapas style dishes,... More

Not a lot of selection, but a nice place to rest your feet and eat some good food. The restaurant is fairly small.. Mostly a pub. Very clean, with a friendly staff. Recommended!

Accidentally came across this place and was very happy I did, service was great and the beer was cold. What more could you ask for?

I was recommended to this bar from a bar tender from another bar because I was a 'Kiwi', as I walked down front street towards it... I thought this might be a dive.... however I was extremely pleased that it was bright and vibrant. The bar tender was more than friendly putting up with my stories... Had the light beer,... More

was here for a ower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) block party to hear and dance to TOTH (turntables on the hudson, a well known dj duo, mariano and nickodemus, with a live drummer, nappy g, event during pride). otherwise would never know this place. got thirsty and hungry while there and dipped in for a quick snack and beverage. waited... Great staff in a nice place with kiwi touches throughout. Simple authentic food at good prices. Wine is superb and the beer tastes as good as it is on the other side of the world. This is a must do bar/restaurant.
