Very good bar food

This was an accidental find as we were walking to a different destination. It has a classy look. There was no wait on a Saturday early evening - I don't know if that is typical. My soup & salad were very tasty. My husband really enjoyed his dinner, which was one of the daily specials. My chocolate... read more

I wanted a quick lunch that had a decent price and wasn't fast food, and this place did fine for that. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly and had a good portion of food for what I paid. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, but it seems that's more common that not when you... More

Three of us went here for dinner before going to the theater. We were seated at a table in the basement and on the cold January night, it was a nice cozy spot. Our drinks were brought quickly and our server was attentive. My Goat Cheese Fritter salad was huge and very good! The fritters were melt-in-your-mouth! My friends had... More

Just across the road from our hotel. Just called in for a drink. Great choice if drinks for all of us at a reasonable price. Good service, great atmosphere!

Went here on a whim for lunch before seeing a play in NYC. The website states that they offer brunch/lunch on weekends, however, we were only offered lunch a little after 12 Noon on a Saturday. I ordered the Manchester sandwich with sweet potato fries-the fries were great and seemed grilled. The sandwich was average-could have been warmer with the... More

We were welcomed warmly into this British pub. Had a nice selection of draft beers which tasted very fresh. We had appetizers which were decent value and delicious. Chicken tenders were a bit dry. One funny thing-we live in america but my husband has a british accent. He did all of the ordering . When the check came it had... More

I used to like this place. Don't believe the website. The brunch menu has changed and they haven't updated the website. Gone are French toast, pancakes, and the Irish breakfast (which is what we went for). Gone is the complimentary mimosa or bloody mary. It's now $10 and the price of the meal has NOT gone down. Only the quality.... More

Good pub food in a location close to Madison Square Garden. Atmosphere fun and beer selection good. Try the chicken pot pie. Puff pastry is special. Also, good espresso for a New York pub. Worth a visit.

3 generations of family met there Saturday night. Service was great. Didn't try the food but from what I could see and smell going to the surrounding tables it was good. One in our party had suggested this place since his gang ate there before a college b-ball game at the garden 6 blocks away. Wide aisle, lots of tables.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
