We had dinner with some friends here in August and we were completly blown away by the originality of the cuisine. It was by far the best Italian food we have eaten for a long time . I would give a lot of money to be able to have the recipe for the chick pea patties which they brought with... More

The restaurant of the hotel "The Marcel at Gramercy" is unaffordable (2 glasses of red wine, 1 desert wine, 3 course menu for $92) on the other hand, it is very good but I am not sure it worth it.

My wife and I enjoyed two delicious pasta dishes for lunch. Carbonara for her and fennel sausage w/ tomato sauce for me. Both were fantastic! I had a Belfry cocktail which was delicious - I could have had 10! Our bruschetta were lovely as was the Morrellini di Scansano we had with our pasta. Overall an excellent lunch destination.

The food was good. especially because it was right next to our hotel and opened till late. We tried the toast with egg and truffle oil. It was nice but I would choose something else if i went again.

What more can you ask for in a NYC restaurant. Food is very much Italian served in a Bistro French manner.

Very nice wines and very tasty panini and pasta. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is wonderful and it is agreat place to try italian wines.

Ok, they have a good list of wines by the glass, although none of them outstanding nor even on average. But the food, oh my god, their food is inedible! It's ironic, not to say insulting, to call what they serve there Italian food... All their food is frozen, canned and come to the table cold. Do avoid!
