Went twice

We found this restaurant close to our hotel. We had dinner there both on December 30, 2014 and January 1, 2015. The food and experience were extremely good on Dec 30, but on Jan 1, while the food was still extremely good, they did not have as much staff as on the Dec 30 and it took close to 20... read more

I stopped in here to have lunch while waiting for my wife to get off work. I have the spaghetti carbonara. And it was exquisite. I must bring my wife back here to experience this wonderful Italian restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. If you are in New York City and you want an inexpensive excellent Italian meal please visit this spot.... More

Loved Isaac! My husband read about this place online right before we went to NYC. So before our Broadway show we went here for dinner. What a great stop. Food was delicious. I would return for sure. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Dessert was so good too! Check it out!!

Yesterday my husband and i ventured through the door of a most interesting cozy restaurant. The ambiance is great. We just wanted a very light lunch. I chose lobster ravioli and my husband chose cheese ravioli. The pasta was soft and melted in our mouths...now as I said a quick bite is what we planned however... The owner Issac decided... More

Enjoyed the octopus appetizer. Had the sea bass special and chicken Marsala. Very good. Desserts were amazing...lemon sorbet and chocolate mousse. Isaac talked with us and made our dinner special. Very cozy inside. Felt like we were in Italy.

Concierge from our hotel directed us here when we asked for italian. Sometimes skeptical to take their advice, but this was exactly what we were hoping for. Friendly, authentic, family italian. Comfortable and casual. Every dish we tried was excellent. A little quirky with opera music videos playing and an Elvis memorbilia wall on display. We thought it added to... More

The restaurant is small and inviting. We were greeted and seated immediately. The lazagna and bread were delicious. We found the place by accident, just walking by. Best accident I've ever had!

We walk North on 9th in the middle of the afternoon, on my way back from B&H Photo, when I realize I'm hungry. As luck should have it, the window next to me displays an attractive piece of Jamon Serano (the Spanish equivalent of Prosciutto, much more to my taste) and some decorative vines around it. This, added to the... More

My wife and I dined there last night and the service was fantastic. My I had grilled tuna with a side of pasta, which was delicious. My wife got a seafood pasta dish, and has been up sick all night. So I'm really torn on this review... As far as our night went, it was fantastic. Superb service, nice wine... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
