Description: You feel a great energy when you walk into the Glass House Tavern. The decor is soothing and warm and truly makes the customer feel welcome. The prompt, friendly service is delightful and the food is incredible. Executive Chef Craig Cupani has created a contemporary American menu that sets this restaurant apart from the other choices in the neighborhood. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are the emphasis here and the results are fantastic.

Four of us had lunch here prior to a theatre performance following up on a recommendation from a friend. We were first struck by the handsome, crisp, well lighted decor and the very long, wecoming bar. We were promptly greeted by a friendly hostess and escorted to our table. The menu options were interesting and varied to include a prix... More

Met up with some friends here for drinks. They had some fantastic unique drink menu options, and the service was good. Just a bit pricey, but that's to be expected being so close to all of the Broadway theaters. While there, saw two A-list Broadway performers, so it seems like that may be where they go after shows

We went here for lunch today-service was quick and friendly and food excellent. Steak with eggs was cooked to perfection and Kate's tuna nicoise went down a treat-seared tuna rolled in poppy and sesame seeds-delicious! Would highly recommend.

We went to the Glass House for dinner on May 3rd following a theater performance based on solid reviews that this restaurant has received. We were pleasantly surprised. Don't be surprised by the lively bar on the ground floor, there is are two large and attractive dining rooms upstairs. The front room is more informal and has both booths and... More

This restaurant absolutely had wonderful service and we were not rushed. We had early reservations and the waiter assured us that we could even stay at our table until showtime. Instead, we had so much time ahead of the show that we were able to walk around Times Square in the daylight before the show we went to. The food... More

This was my second visit to the Glass House Tavern. The food was excellent, the service was just OK. We had to flag down the waiter every time we needed something. It took 45 minutes to get our fish. BUT...the fish was excellent. Despite many empty tables upstairs, a table with a baby and toddler was seated right next to... More

This was our first time at Glass House Tavern. We were escorted upstairs to a window table with a good people watching view. We came in after the pre-theater crowd so it was pretty empty upstairs. We decided on the flat rate 3 course dinner for $37.00 each. Husband ordered risotto with escargot which was delicious and I ordered the... More

We were a party of 10 and this was a very impromptu birthday celebration for me. I thought I was going to have a quiet dinner with a friend, and he and the restaurant were in on surprising me with 10 top of my closest friends. The hostess from the moment we arrived was incredibly nice, we were seated right... More

We went here before a play and they were able to work with us being we didn't have reservations. The inside and the outside of the place looks really nice. It definitely has a nice atmosphere. The food was ok nothing over the top great.

There were eleven in our party however we had a reservation and were seated immediately. We had a theater reservation and our waiter asked what time we needed to be there. Service was very good and the food was very good. I had one of the specials "Lamb Wellington" which was cooked to perfection. Their wine list was also good.... More
