Best lobster roll anywhere!

Just my opinion, but they do it right. Warm meat, split top roll, melted butter and maybe some spices. I can't say what is proper, but I prefer this style to the cold meat and mayonnaise style. Simple but perfect. Not fancy and no real seating, but good for carry out.

Awesome lobster roll. Gotta try when you're in the area. With over 1000 reviews, it's just a must! I got the lobster and the crab roll. The portion is so so for the amount of money you spend, but the flavor is worth the amount. They were both delicious.

I had planned to come here based upon the tripadvisor reviews, as I love lobster and lobster rolls are not easy to come by in the UK. We visited after a morning tour of the UN Building, and were not disappointed. The lobster rolls have so much flavour, and they are packed with meat. We also like to eat where... More

This place is a tiny little joint, that has seating for about 8 people. They have only 3 things on the menu, Lobster Roll, Crab Roll and Shrimp Roll. Of course there are the chips, pickles and drinks. I have had lobster rolls before, but never one as delicious as the one I had this past weekend. Just scruptious. The... More

I was desperate for a Lobster roll as we had read all the reviews that we arrived before they were actually open!! They were taking there delivery and the doors were open and as it was a ridiculously cold day we were told we could wait inside instead of come back. We waited patiently as the staff set up, about... OK, it's simple: Lobster roll, Crab roll, or shrimp roll ... or combo of these!! Simple, but extremely satisfying and delicious. Easy, friendly, good selection of beers. A perfect spot to scratch of the lobster itch!!

Having never had a lobster roll, and bit being a big seafood fan, going here was an act of love for my man. I was pleasantly surprised. The roll was yummy. The spicy crab bisque was amazing. I wasn't over whelmed by the value for my money though (half a roll and soup for $18) or by the politeness of... More

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
