Very Good

Very good lobster rolls. Lots of lobster on a butter roll. The entire family enjoyed our quick dinner. There are not of lot of food choices but if you are looking for lobster or crab - this is a good cheap place.

I tried the shrimp roll. All I can say is WOW! The shrimp was so fresh, the bun was delightful, and the whole preparation was superb. I definitely encourage you to eat here. The only detail is that you will have to find them, but its worth it!

I visited Luke's Lobster in 2012 and i loved it. Incredible food and the best sandwich that I ate in NY. If you have that choose one place to eat, go there.

This trip to NYC we ate at the Plaza food court location ... Twice! Love the lobster rolls! There was always a long line, but it moves quickly.

A friend of mine took me to Luke's for lobster rolls. I was first surprised by the location to my office, which I never knew existed! We walked in and I saw the line....good sign. We quickly made it to the person taking orders as the line moved quickly. I chose the Shrimp Roll, because it just sounded good. He... More

I love Maine Lobster! This was a very tasty lobster roll on a nice buttery bun. The service was friendly, but the restaurant had limited seating. This is a nice neighborhood takeout spot!

Delicious delicious delicious. Lukes makes a perfect lobster roll that will leave you wanting more. The best lobster roll I have had. I no longer live in NYC but thankfully they have since opened up other locations around the country

We live in the neighborhood and Luke's Lobster is always a stop on our "see the neighborhood" tour that we do with friends (usually coupled with a stop at Porchetta across the street, Diana's Tacos on Second Avenue, Davey's Ice Cream, and a cocktail at PDT.) The reason it is part of a tour is, like the other places, it... More

Absolutely fresh and DELICIOUS! Me and my boyfriend got the "Noah's Arc" which comes with two of the lobster, crab and shrimp rolls, 2 chips and 2 drinks for $38. Great deal.

Luke's has the best combo: clam chowder and half lobster roll. I've been to Luke's at The Plaza and the place has few places to set down... Be prepared to wait to get your place to eat..

Staying in East Village

Neighborhood Profile
East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village, which offers plenty of unique small businesses catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the old-time neighborhood feel that you can still experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to wander up and down the streets searching for the newest hip spot, or an old-school favorite. In the center of the neighborhood, Tompkins Square Park serves as a gathering point for the New Yorkers that call the East Village home. The people-watching here is hard to beat.
