Good place to drop in to..

Stopped in here for breakfast but we weren't very hungry which is a good thing because this is more of a deli where you can get a sandwich or a salad, something quick and easy. We were able to get a couple of yoghurts with fruit and muesli and a fruit salad. Coffee isn't anything fantastic... read more

I enjoy stopping by this restaurant across from the Port Authority before a full day of NYC. I enjoy their oatmeal here. Also, yesterday's chai latte was well prepared, exactly how I enjoy having it. The scones were fresh too. Friendly quick service.

After a busy day stopped in at Deane & Deluca for some naughty chocolate brownie & sugar toasted waffle. Atmosphere quiet & roomy and no queues. Top quality latte - best on East Coast (Aussie rating +++++) and more body than Starbucks as an alternative. Cheaper too for same size !!!!! A nice selection of sweets - made here in... More

We went for breakfast repeatedly in our stay in NYC and loved it all the way. A bit of a pricey breakfast, but with outstanding quality and a great environment. I can definitely recommend...

If you've ever been to Port Authority, you know that you don't want to spend an extra minute there, so we were happy to find a Dean & Deluca cafe across the street for a quick bite to eat while we waited for the bus. There have good coffee drinks and good, quick breakfast and lunch options, from pastry to... More

Similar solutions of breakfast as Starbucks, this is probably a better place due to quality, ambiance, and even value. Very nice facilities at WSJ building, nearby Port Authority, good service, warm nice drinks, fresh fruit and average bagels.

We needed a quick bite, so we dropped in for the 6.95 Egg and Cheese & plum tomato sandwich, which was good. The egg is pre-formed a la dunkin donuts. I ordered decaf, which was served lukewarm. They didn't have hot decaf, so I had regular coffee, which was fine. My chocolate chip scone was good. Everything looked fresh. I... More

Most of regular town tourists uses the services of self service places. This sis one of the best. We tried soups, sushi, cakes, espresso, capuchino and black coffee. Must say they were all good, fresh and tasty. To those who want to use self service this chain is a very good one.

Definitely go here and put together your own salad, they are amazing. Very fresh, big and great value for money. The coffee isn't that good thought.

Dropped in for coffee and a snack before a meeting in the NY times building. Coffee and a lemon cake see picture Pastry rock hard and lemon gelatinous. Coffee was not much better. This is from one if my favorite places in NY. Very disappointing today

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
