Located very close from metro station, Nam Son is easy to reach. Staff is very friendly, service is quick and food is very good and light. Go there with no hesitation.

I was visiting Chinatown with my cousin and felt like eating Asian food, tried to go to spicy village but it was closed. So we settled with this Vietnamese restaurant. We had the appetizer phoe, summer rolls, and a Chinese/ Vietnamese rice noodle with beef. The food is good but definitely not very good. I have had the best phoe... More

Vietnamien or Chinese food is often very salty and you end up gasping for water an hour or so after eating it - even if it is excellent food. This was NOT the case in this place. I had a noodle soup which had a homemade chicken broth which was excellent. We also had the squid which was very good... More

I don't live in Chinatown but it's worth a short trek to get here for the Pho, especially for the vegetarian stuff. The meat phos are good too. large portions and good price. I don't eat meat so I order the vegetarian pho which is very bland but clean. Put the spices and herbs in! I always get the papaya... More

I'd recommend Pho at this restaurant. I had a quick brunch so could not comment on many of the dishes but the Pho was quite good actually. I'm a native Vietnamese and I have to say it's one the best I have tasted in the US so far.

We got off the subway at Grant street station and found this place at 100 feet away. The food is excellent value for money and the staff is friendly and efficient. We took 2 of the 4 diners in New York at this place. It is not high class, but good food for a good price. Try the number 39... More

We ordered the usuals, which in itself were good, except for the herbs that seemed to have gone missing. Bahn Xeo normally comes with a selection of herbs, but all we got was lettuce and mint. A shame, as the food as such is great. Please beef up on your coriandre again!

We usually eat here when we are in Chinatown. They serve good, honest Vietnamese food and reasonable prices. The place is clean, efficient, and full of Vietnamese customers. We usually have the Pho and the bun. And, of course, the Vietnamese ice coffee is not to be missed.

My Wife and I were in NYC for a few days and wanted to have a good Vietnamese meal. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was full of locals . The menu is extensive and is supplemented with daily specials. We particularly enjoyed the vegetarian spring rolls which we rolled in lettuce and mint leaves and dipped in sauce. The... More
