Quick service and organic Food.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was kind of cosy (Lights were a little bit low) despite the large size of the place. We ordered spinach Quiche and Mushroom risotto with a "power smoothie" (with spiruline in it!!) Food was ok, and kind of light. Risotto was definitely tasty but... read more

This place is extraordinary. They were serving meat but literally became vegan over night for environmental reasons. They are heroes! Super romantic and super trendy place that plays awesome music. Also very cheap for 100% organic.

Although we aren't vegetarians we do love our veggie dishes, and certainly the quality of the food can't be faulted here. Both the lentil and potato soups were thick and comforting, though the portions were a little small. The main course portions were incredibly generous however - the vegan risotto with mushrooms and cashew cream was sublime, and the thai... More

I went with my son, who is vegan and was visiting from out of town, for dinner. Service was friendly and attentive, food was very good, and prices were moderate. Portions could have been larger, especially for the appetizer.

I had the special - fruit salad, huevos rancheros and a tea. The fruit salad was fresh and very enjoyable. The huevos rancheros were lukewarm, good quacamole but the 'rustic potatoes' were a bit mushy. Service left a lot to be desired - had to chase my bill, then got the wrong change and had to wait a long time... More

The food is good here, however, the portion sizes have been declining since me and my bf have been coming here the last few years. Quality seems to still be good but I got a turkey burger and it looked like a preformed patty which makes me wonder if it was frozen or not. it tasted good but had me... More

We discovered this place after we saw the movie Fed Up, about the increasing obesity epidemic in the US. We are always looking for a "clean", farm to table type of restaurant to go to in the city. This place is awesome! I love the menu's and the the service is impeccable, they also have organic wine without sulfites which... More

I was very impressed by the amazing meal I ate at this restaurant (go for the veggie burger!) but the service was VERY slow. It actually took close to an extra half an hour to get dessert. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we were quite confused as to why it was so slow. But if you have all the time... More

I really like this restaurant. The food is great, it's casual enough with no pretense, and sometimes there is good live music. I eat here when visiting NYC with my mother as I need gluten free and she is elderly. The staff treat us very well. I drive her car there from Philadelphia and always (so far) have found a... More

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
