Great brunch with friends

Bottomless mimosas. Need I say more? The food was good and reasonably priced. The only draw back was having to pay in cash to split the bill with everyone.

I've been here a few times now. I really like the "cask engine". I had beer from it a few times. It's quite a throwback to the era before pressurized kegs. The beer is drawn much like water from a well. It's quite potent and a bit different because it's got no nitrogen pressure going for it. It's also ten... More

The Half Pint is a charming little pub a block away from Washington Square. When you have had enough sightseeing or just need a place to get away from the madding crowd this is the place. The taps are cool and rotate out on a regular basis. There is even a draw off a keg in the basement. Stop in... More

Came here as part of an unusual Stag and Hen night (unusual as there was only one Stag - Me and only one Hen - the Bride to be). We had not planned in particular to stop here, just mere serendipity, but we are glad we did. We did not eat, as this was no time for solids, however the... More

A British style pub near Washington Square Park and NYU with great food fare and a very good selection of foreign beers and wines as far away as NZ and Australia! A warm timber exposed interior decor with limited street side tables that can get very busy during summer and on special NYU days. A good place to recharge the... More

We stop at this restaurant to take a break and have a drink. They have a really good choice of beer from all around the world and the waitress was very helpful to give us advice.. After a beer we decide to stay for dinner and try there big burger and two more beers. We really enjoy the place.

This is a great spot to have a few drinks if wandering around this part of town! We sat outside and it was lovely and chilled. Good selection of beers and they even had rekorderlig Swedish cider which is hard to come by here. Service was great- we had a lovely lady called Mary who was attentive but didn't rush... More

We drank here twice but never ate. Food being served to others looked lovely though. The staff are lovely - both the Irish girls serving were super friendly. Sat outside on both occasions to watch the world go by. Great spot

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
