A "Pub" away from home

A British style pub near Washington Square Park and NYU with great food fare and a very good selection of foreign beers and wines as far away as NZ and Australia! A warm timber exposed interior decor with limited street side tables that can get very busy during summer and on special NYU days. A... read more

We stop at this restaurant to take a break and have a drink. They have a really good choice of beer from all around the world and the waitress was very helpful to give us advice.. After a beer we decide to stay for dinner and try there big burger and two more beers. We really enjoy the place.

This is a great spot to have a few drinks if wandering around this part of town! We sat outside and it was lovely and chilled. Good selection of beers and they even had rekorderlig Swedish cider which is hard to come by here. Service was great- we had a lovely lady called Mary who was attentive but didn't rush... More

We drank here twice but never ate. Food being served to others looked lovely though. The staff are lovely - both the Irish girls serving were super friendly. Sat outside on both occasions to watch the world go by. Great spot

We stopped here twice while in Greenwich Village. A fantastic pub with a great beer selection with very friendly staff who were knowledgeable about their options. We did not eat there although the food looked great. One barmaid in particular made us feel very at home, recommending the Blueberry beer very successfully. I wish we had gotten her name but... On a crowded Sat. afternoon we were lucky to get one of the small tables by the window. Pretty decent beer selection including a few Belgians, which makes me happy. My bf got a beer and then an Irish coffee. Mamacita...he got his money's worth from that one! I *hate* coffee, but when I tasted it...all I could taste was... More

We had lunch here after a great day walking about Greenwich villiage. We both had a burger, which was tasty, moist and filling.

Staying in Greenwich Village

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
