I stayed at the Dumont last year and visited a couple of times. I stayed across on seventh this year and tried a few cares but last three days found my self going to this great place. Again the young girl who served us twice is a credit to this place nothing is a problem for her. The breakfasts are... More

Best breakfast we had in our 3 week tour of New York State by a long shot. Traditional, good service, good value and above all... great food.

Basic Diner offering. No major breakthrough. We had scrambled eggs, french toasts and some more of the classics. Cheap, fast, comfortable.

I stumbled onto the Murray Hill diner while going to the subway one day and decided we would definitely have to try it. We did have breakfast there our last day in New York. The service was top notch, the menu appealing and the breakfasts yummy! My husband had the breakfast sandwich with homemade hash browns, I had the lumber... More

Stayed a couple blocks from here and walked over for breakfast one morning. I had a ham and cheese omelet and my wife had a waffle with bacon. Great food. Big portions at a reasonable price.

Ate here every morning during our 4 day visit to New York. We were very impressed by the menu, the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. We had three breakfasts here, and one was actually brunch which started at 10am. We had ordered bagles the first day - I ordered lox and my husband ordered cream cheese -... More

After a bad experience at Tic Toc Diner the day before, this place was perfection. Excellent service. Excellent food. We had a window seat. It seemed to be filled with New Yorkers rather than tourists. I will definitely go back.

Lovely and clean place with great food. Staff so friendly and food really good value and very tasty. A place not to miss. Well patronized by the locals.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
