Great experience

We were staying just down the road and ended up having breakfast here a couple of times. It was the first time that our children had eaten in a NYC diner and they loved it. Pancakes are lovely and lots of coffee if you need it. Staff very attentive.

A classic, neighborhood diner with plenty of scrumptious selections, ample portions and very friendly service. My wife and I ate there twice during our Nov 2014 visit to New York. Good value and very popular.

Maybe it was because we were tourists but my california omelet was just average, not very flavorful and overcooked. Potatoes that came with it were greasy and not cooked well.

This is our go to diner when we come to NYC, and are never disappointed by the food. We never leave hungry! I always have the pancakes, and it makes such a difference to have actual maple syrup in a jug rather then the awful, tasteless pancake syrups in little plastic tubs! The service has always been excellent, however there... More

Had breakfast here with the family....food was delivered so quick I felt like we had our own personal chef. All 4 of us thought it was delicious. Coffee was never refilled so service could've been a bit better but overall no complaints for a diner.

Don't bother going anywhere else in the neighborhood for breakfast. Great food. Great service. They even gave us a complimentary 2015 calendar, which hangs proudly on our wall at home.

Went for breakfast. Place was very full, which tells you it's good, because it is not located in a touristy area. Received a friendly and warm greeting at the door, like we were family, though this was our first time there. French toast (challah bread) was fantastic. So was the Murray Hill omelet. Service was decent, but not great. Food... More

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
