A great pub in New York

It was wine/beer O'clock so we decided to stop here. The beer was nice and cold, as was the wine. We stayed for a bite to eat which was also really good. The burgers were cooked exactly as we had ordered them, medium well and medium rare. We also went back a few days later and had nachos which... read more

The beer was cold and it came fast after we ordered. My partner had a very good veggie sandwich, while I had a hardy turkey sandwich. The food was good and service excellent, although a bit pricy. We ate at the table on the sidewalk and you could see the lights come alive on Time Square. All in all it... More

Located at 54th Street, along 7th Avenue, right across from the Carnegie Deli. Food was good...Shepherd's Pie, Fish & Chips, both were tasty and plentiful. Pricing was ok...high teens for both entrees. Our waitress was very sweet, she even had an Irish brogue to boot. However, as a pub, they should be more into conversation, chatting, homey feel....however the proliferation... More

This was a great place for lunch. Hubby had the burger, I had the Corned Beef Sandwich, and son had the Shepherds Pie. Everyone was very happy with the food, and we couldn't have asked for more in terms of the Guinness or the service.

Enjoyed the corned beef rye. True beef not what some pass off as corn beef. Friendly service. Sandwich and a Guinness $25

We had fish and chips along with a couple pints of Guiness. The food was very hot and tasted great. The atmosphere was lively and loud. Definitely a fun place!

We just happened upon this place when we arrived in NYC wandering around for somewhere to eat. It was pretty busy as it was already 5 and there were soccer games playing. Our server was fantastic and very attentive! Food was excellent! I had the fish and chips and they had such good flavor. Fish was crispy and batter light... More

Fabulous food, wonderful service and atmosphere that is so Irish. We had a very late lunch here and chose the Irish Stew and it literally melted in our mouths. Just superb. The place has lots of giant TV screens so we caught up with the Masters Golf while eating. My partner enjoyed a Guinness and I had a lovely pinot... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
