Stumbled upon this little gem on a stroll. OMG- sooo good! We had "de bom" and it tasted like a fresh chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Wafel batter is delightfully light and delicious. Belgian chocolate sauce is not too sweet and plenty of awesome. The vanilla ice cream just brings the decadence up to another level. I only regret...

Tried the wafel and dinges last year and it has become a must do on our return trips to NYC. They are decadent!!! They have trucks all over the city, of varying sizes, so the offerings may vary slightly. Do NOT pass up an opportunity to try one...even if you are not hungry! I have not tried a savory version....

We heard about this truck through a friend. You can look them up on their website to see where the trucks are located each day. We went to the truck in Central Park. The Throwdown waffle was AMAZING! High recommended!

We just found their cart by accident near Lincoln Center. It was a great surprise to seat on a park bench a have an amazing Nutella strawberry waffle in the middle of the afternoon.

I am not a desert guy, but the flavor of their waffles was amazing!! They are all over the city, but we met them on a New York Walking Tour = Sidewalks of New York. Try both, highly recommend.

We had a waffle at Central Park and the Belgian guy told me their waffles are even better then in Belgium. Well, he was right! Chose all the toppings you want, the "dinges" and enjoy one of the best sweets you can get in NY :-)

Every time I come to NYC ...I visit the foodcart or truck .. Very fresh , sweet yummy . Try the gingerbread ice cream with their spread on top ....so yummy ! U can even buy jars of the spread to take back home .

I saw Wafels & Dinges on a TV show (Andy Bates Street Feasts) a few weeks before going to NYC, and they looked so good I decided to hunt them down when I was there!
I found their truck near Central Park (follow them on Twitter for daily locations) and had a wafel with Speculoos - this stuff is amazing!...

If you see the wafles & dinges truck, treat yourself with a nice wafle. I myself had 'the throwdown' and I can only recommend it.

went two times in April....great break in the park not sure if pricey since most things in nyc are anyhow in touristy areas. great little treat sweet and tastey and good service. its a little waffle but sure tastey. loaded right up is so bad for you for sugar but tastes so good we went back a second time.
