Great Steak Friendly Staff

The location was great for a quick business meeting - loved the staff and the filet was perfect. It was a great place for a late Thursday night dinner!

Total shocker - I would highly recommend going here!!! We've been into the downstairs bar several times before a show but snuck upstairs to dinner for the first time. The wine list was outstanding and well priced! I asked the server for recommendations and he suggested the ribeye. Gotta tell you it was one of the best ribeye's I have... More

The service is the best around and the steak also! The shared steak for two can easily feed three! The filet is so tender, no need for a steak knife and the creamed spinach is wonderful!

Overall we had a very good experience here. Quality of food was excellent. Although the steaks were a little over what we asked for. The service was great. Other than the rude coat check person, everyone else was very friendly and helpful. The seating area is very small and you are on top of the other diners. We were right... More

Apart from the fact that they have a wonderful lunch prix fixe for restaurant week, this is a solid restaurant with a very friendly wait staff and food done right. I didn't get to sample the full steak menu since I was here for restaurant week but if it's any indication I should really come back. My berry gelato dessert... More

they have remodeled the entry and has a nice small bar, go upstairs and the place is cozy and close. Always packed and you can hear what the table next to you is talking about. The food is very good and service is good. Going back next month.

My Dad and I visited here last month, it was our last night in NYC so we wanted to do something special, I had eaten here before some years ago and had been telling Dad what a great place it was, neither of us were disappointed. Its on the expensive side but the food is simply outstanding, I have been... More

I asked our hotel concierge for a "Kid-Friendly Steakhouse" and we were guided here. Based on the reviews on TA, I had some hesitations - all the warnings about cranky waiters. Turns out, this place was great. We had a great waitress who was spot on with the timing and, based on our wine order, amanager (or at least someone... More

My wife and I spent Valentines weekend in NYC to see a Broadway show. After the show we walked back, a bit hungry, and stopped at Frankies and Johnny's. We're both fans of steak houses...have eaten at most of the big names like Mortons, Ruths, Octagon, etc. We walked in, they were busy, no reservation, and still squeezed us in.... More

Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
