Knowing the reputation of Chef Boulud and the praise I had heard of DBGB had me extremely excited to dine here on my trip to NYC. What me, my fiancé and our two friends experienced was less than lackluster thanks to terrible service. I'm still upset about it. I should mention I am in the hospitality business, so expectations are... More

My husband and I were visiting NYC and took advantage of the last week of restaurant week in NYC to have a nice dinner without breaking the bank. We chose DBGB for it's good reviews and respected chef. Our dinner was very good, but service lacked. We were seated right next to the kitchen where the food comes out so... More

My husband and I had walked into this restaurant on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The room is open and inviting, while service was friendly and on point. We ordered the Calamari to start - fresh and flavorful ! Onto the main course .... the frenchie burger was great and a fair portion size. My husband ordered the strip... More

Food was great, not a good spot for a vegetarian but we were not so were quite pleased. I was a huge fan of my eggs florentine and everyone else had sausages of some sort which were also great. Cocktail list was lack-luster.

Easy spot for a mellow hangover lunch / brunch. The bloody marys' have an interesting mix to them, and there is a large beer selection available. The food was decent bar food - salads, burgers etc - all well presented and decent quality.

This is the best burger in town...not too big and leaves you wanting more! Surprisingly good value considering the chef's reputation. Clever design and use of what could be a boring venue...excellent service, great wine list. A must go to each time I am downtown. All my chums who I have sent there all agreed!

Just had lunch there. Most dishes were ok, but underserving its "out pf this world" reputation. The omelet was worthy of American Airlines: tasteless, industrial, with styrofoam texture. Salad lacking vinaigrette. The server and manager were concerned, came over to inquire what had happened, took the omelet from our bill and sent a complimentary dessert. Overrated. Do not waist your... More

Dinner was relaxing with tasteful choices, fine wine and friendly service. We learned they are known for their sausage and burgers, but we trued the chilled corn soup, appetizer beets and spaghetti Food was well crafted and tasty. Service was genuine adding to the overall evening.

Came here for a friend's birthday. If you are a meat and sausage lover this place is for you. I had a great burger and fries that was paired well with a recommended cocktail.

Stopped by here last Saturday. They specialize in more casual food, and we had two types of sausages as appetizers. Dinner was a salad, a pasta and a burger. All were very tasty. The wait staff was attentive without hovering (he knew we had a curtain to catch). I expect we would have had a long wait if we'd tried... More
