New spot and very popular. Great service, friendly staff. But we came for the food and was not disappointed. I enjoyed the sausage duo - beaujolais (pork with wine) served with lentils and Vermont (pork with cheddar) served with cornbread. Succulent and juicy. The Frenchie hamburger - with arugula and morbier cheese - was deemed delicious. Hit of the evening... More

Passed by this place a few times and finally decided to try it out. It's on the Bowery in NYC. For those who are not familiar this is where the homeless people live or used to live. The shelter and Salvation Army building is only across the street a few blocks down. I had many friends mugged on this street.... More

We took an early reservation at DBGB on New Year's Eve, and enjoyed every minute. The place was all prepared for the festivities to come, everyone was in a cheerful and festive mood, and the food never disappoints. By the time we left, the place was just about full, and although we missed the midnight action, felt fully satisfied with... More

Must try if you can. The appetizers were delicious - smokey sweat potato and calamari were our best. The mini hot dogs and fries were out if this world. The salmon main was nice; and sausages were fantastic (just a touch salty for my taste). And the wine list is extensive. Ambiance was great - open kitchen and surrounded by... More

This restaurant delivers on high quality burgers and great beers. I really like how the toppings are not overloaded and are there to complement the beef. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Shared a few gourmet sausages as a group to start - definitely worth trying. Excellent location on Bowery and close to subway.

We went to DBGB on Bowery after the Radio City Christmas Show. The children were energetic to say the least. The restaurant sat us (2 adults, 4children) in one of their many secluded booths so that the little ones were not a disturbance to other diners. This was on a Sunday afternoon, so it was the brunch menu which was... More

We've been fans of the place for many years now. The bar scene is great in and of itself, some excellent people-watching. Bartenders are terrific and the beer card is one of the best in NYC. As to the restaurant, it helps to be a carnivore -- burgers and sausages are great, and the charcuterie plate is a thing of... More

We went for the burgers and were very pleased. I had a special Thanksgiving turkey burger and my husband had a great "regular" burger. Portions were generous (came with fries) and we had some delicious brussel sprouts on the side. Good beer, cocktail, wine selection and service was very attentive. We sat at a small table for two practically on... More

I really don't mind paying for great food and service. And when you demand the prices that DBGB commands, your expecting perfection. The food was very good. My wife was not crazy about the pasta, but she eat it. I had the Steak Frittes, very good especially the bordelaise butter. Dessert was good, and Seafood Tower was fresh and tasty.... More
