Billed as an all year roof top bar...make more of an effort please

if your going to try and capture the roof top bar goers in winter then more effort is needed. I'd estimate 75% of the roofs pace is closed off and people all herded into one untidy, overcrowded area. The outside bar has a Perspex covering and the staff just stick the drink out and take the cash... read more

I always bring friends and family here when they are visiting and they always enjoy. It has 2 floors & amazing views of the city. They offer snuggies in the cooler months- really cool place.

Went there last night for the first time. Located on the 20th floor this lounge had a great view of nyc night lights. The service was great, admission was free, the drinks were reasonable priced and overall vibe was great. We were able to rsvp a nice size booth. The music was ok lol but I am very selective with... Unfortunately it was raining, but the upstairs porch has a great view! The brunch is decent and it seems like a pretty swanky club at night. Gives an excellent view of Empire State Building.

The hostess at the lounge was incredibly rude, she started the whole experience in a negative way. After waiting in the lounge for 10 mins no service I walked to the bar. The bar tender was facing away on his phone while I stood there for several minutes. There was also 4 other staff members watching. Very poor service. Lucky... More

230th Fifth is one of the most snooty bars in NY. You need to be dressed oh so properly with your heels and dresses and guys need to be super formal. However, we figured a hack. We went there on a Saturday evening at about 6pm, when they are absolutely chilled out. Can get a table easily, walk in wearing... More
