The Best Pizza I've Ever Had

We stumbled in this place while walking through the west village. We thought we weren't that hungry so we ordered one pizza to share. It was so good we ended up ordering one more. I like all kinds of pizza; Sicilian, New York, Chicago. But this is not only the best Neapolitan pizza i've ever had... read more

Absolutely perfect Neapolitan pizza. Amazing. You struggle to find this quality in Italy. Perfect dow, crunchy crust, not too thin, not burned. Tasty tomato sauce. The right amount of topping, all best italian import. What's the problem? 18-20 USD for a (italian-size) pizza is simply too much, in NYC or anywhere. Should be half that. That's why only 4*.

Best. Pizza. Ever. A well deserved reputation as the best pizza in NYC. Pleasant staff, good service, and amazing food. You need to eat here.

My goodness, what a treat! Absolutely delicious gluten free pizza. They have another place with a similar menu named Don Antonio uptown. Must try! And the Comedy Cellar is just a couple of block away.

This restaurant was lovely. The quality of the pizza and especially the nutella dessert pizza were fabulous. They don't take reservations so be prepared for a wait because it's very popular. Or go early and get lucky like we did. The tables are quite close together so consider this before you go. But it's very worth it!

Keste provided one of the tastiest meals we had in New York. We were shown to a table without delay, seated right next to the kitchen which was great for our children to watch. Food was ordered and delivered swiftly, flavours were amazing and did not leave us feeling heavy like so many other pizzerias. Will definitely return....

I ate dinner here while on a solo business trip. The setting is quaint and there are a lot of tables in a small place but it feels cozy and vibrant. The menu had a wide variety of intelligent "adult palette" choices (no babyfood Italian food here) but the combinations of ingredients all work really well - no "garbage pizza"... More

We've tried (and enjoyed!) some of the other famous New York pizza places but Keste really does beat them all! We visited on a warm Wednesday evening expecting a queue but got straight in. The tables are very close together but the food comes quickly so it's not like people are going to be cosy for long. I had the... More

You won't find pepperoni slices here- but what they have is really really delicious. This is far more advanced pizza than the standard delivery (although they do deliver!)- We had a group of 8- the hostess came and chatted with us for a while- so friendly! She recommended getting several pizzas and although they typically cut into 4 pieces, offered... More

Very good pizza. The dough was excellent. I had better tomato sauce..but overall it hit the stop for my pizza craving.

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
