Great Pizza!

On our recent trip to New York we decided to search out a good authentic pizza restaurant. Keste has some excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and our experience was also great. The staff were friendly, the service was fast yet unrushed and the food was excellent! Highly recommended :)

Let me start by saying that since my husband was diagnosed with celiac disease a couple of years ago, dining has been tricky and he has been longing for good pizza. We tried Keste last year and it was excellent. We went again this year and it is fantastic. The owner is from Naples so he should know pizza. The... More

The pizza was pretty good here, no complaints about that, although they don't sell any types of tea. However, the service definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. We arrived at noon on a Saturday, shortly after they opened and were the first ones seated. We ordered and the food arrived in less than 5 minutes (as it is... More

On our latest trip to New York we wanted to try and find the best pizza the city had to offer. I think we found them at Keste. As we walked into this bustling busy restaurant full of happy diners we knew we were on to a winner. We ordered 3 different pizzas and each was as delicious as the... More

Do you enjoy pizza? Do you enjoy a comfortable restaurant? Do you like both of these things together? If so, please go here. The food is so yummy and no matter if you're in the city for a day or live there. You have to try it. You can even bring your friends who have to eat gluten free! Well... More

My son is a Pizza fan, so when we visited NYC by end of March 15, he took me to this one to have me taste a real Naples pizza and I wasn't disappointed. Highly recommended!

I am allergic to gluten so eating out can be a pain. However, Keste was beyond a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and even had a sense of humor, but the real deal breaker was their gluten free pizza. I had six days in the city and walked back to this establishment TWICE. I was up near Times... More

We got two different pizzas to share - both had great crust and toppings. Only wish - someplace to hang out while waiting for a table.

Not possible to book a table, but no problem getting one, and we were happy to be seated so quickly, and very close to where the pizzabaking took place. Lovely pizzas, most exciting one was the Pistacchio e Salsiccia, which I absolutely recommend trying. My friend had to use the bathroom, which, unfortunately, was not very nice.

I went on a Monday evening. As other people said, the place is small and the tables are tiny. But that is ok. I ordered a pizza (Funghi) which is topped with tomato sauce, homemade mozzarella, mushrooms, basil and extra virgin olive oil. I also ordered half a liter of the home wine (Valpolicella). The wine was warm instead of... More

Staying in West Village

Neighborhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighborhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
