Having spend a month in New York eating at a range of restaurants this was our second last night. The food was up there with the best we have eaten to-date - perhaps anywhere in the world. The flavours were intense and delicious in every course - crudo through to dessert. The wine list is superb. The room is great.... More

Keep on going back hoping that the food excellence translates to the hosts and the sommelier service. But as good as the food gets. The more surly and arrogant it gets Went there for a 65 birthday got there 20 minutes early(oh my god) the jots quickly pointed that out and sat us in the bar when asked to be... More

The decor is well done but showy enough you might worry that the food is an after thought but it's not! Excellent and creative sea food with an Italian theme. A large selection of crudo and pasta many in original combinations as well as simply prepared whole fish. Lamb chops were also excellent. Portions are adequate, not large. Service excellent... More

We went here to celebrates moms 60th birthday while in NYC. One of the best meals I've ever had. We did the pre fixed which is a great value and a lot of food. The lobster appetizer was my favorite. So much lobster that was so sweet. The octopus and bone marrow pasta was phenomenal. I only wish I had... More

Fine Italian seafood, always busy, knowledgeable staff and a very good wine list. Signature pasta with octopus and bone marrow is wonderful, as was the Dover Sole.

We went here for my birthday. I loved every moment. The seafood was exquisite and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was refined and relaxing. We were two steps past heaven when we left.

Amazing from start to finish. Did the prix fix tasting menu. Added on some of the extras. Still talking about the meal a year later. I got the 51 day aged Pat LaFrieda (I know in a seafood place known for their seafood) it was amazing and we all shared it. We all knawed on the bone in front of... More

Today was my birthday. My best friend took me to Marea for lunch. Over the years, we've been to the Four Seasons (three times), Le Bernardin (once-and that was enough), La Grenouille (not a good experience) and the late lamented La Cote Basque. We've also been to London and Paris several times and once to Vienna. What's the point of... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here on our last night in NYC. The restaurant is located right across the street from Central Park; we took the subway (stop is “high heels” close). We loved the atmosphere of the place. The bar is bright and inviting but never got loud. We were seated and noticed the tables were... More

Fantastic experience! Everything was great. Lobster and burrata salad was a blast, pasta with a crab was amazing. Vermentino worked very well as a pair. Highly recommend.
