We came for our wedding anniversary and had the four course menu. It was so difficult to choose, with all the great selections. The service was very very good. There is no view, but the decor was great and it was easy to have a quiet conversation.

I like the service, food is OK. Place is very crowded. I was hoping the environment could be more roomy, quieter and relax. I felt like eating in a food factory. I guess it's due to the great demand. Oh well, at least I've tried.

Was at Marea for lunch on a saturday, thankfuly I made reservations as it seemed full. Very attentive service. Only slip up was the manager not putting in our second drink orders, which were eventually on the house. The grilled octopus and tasting of 3 sashimi were excellent. The risotto was a generous portion and the braised beef tortellini were... More

We were able to get in without a reservation but we were just lucky. We had the 4 course menu which was primarily seafood and excellent. Service was fantastic. Right across from Central Park. Eating at the bar is an option on a first come first served basis and worth trying.

What an amazing lunch we had at this Michelin starred joint butting up against Central Park. The dishes are very refined as they only use the highest quality ingredients. The staff seasoned and on top of their game.....the bar, well they do a fine job also as each cocktail we had was better than the other. Overall, this is one... More

We were recommended to this place and were assured that this is among the top handful of restaurants in New York. The web site claims it serves high-end Italian food. 6 of us went for lunch and tried a variety of different dishes. The lobster starter lacked the sweet taste of fresh lobster, the pasta with crab meat and sea urchin... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
