We visited the Times Square location after a recommendation from a friend. There are a lot of different kinds of sandwiches you can get but there are NO substitutions. We got pulled pork, catfish, and chicken. All of them come with their toppings which are very different, but so good. I remember the cucumbers and pickled carrots for sure. Service... More

Family of 4 ate here prior to catching a 7:30 Broadway show. Food: Ordered the roasted chicken rice bowl and grilled vegetables. Flavor was excellent, cooked just right and portions were filling. Drink: Watermelon juice drink was refreshing. Service: Walk up service doesn't require much from the staff. In general, staff were polite and responsive. Location: Within 20 min walk... More

Consistently delicious lunches and sometimes dinners. the menu has recently been expanded to include delicious rice bowls and a really good caulflower sandwich. I try to come here as often as I can, and so do many others. The line is always out the door.

My Catfish Salad was delish - a slightly sweet strip of fried catfish on asian slaw. Also tried a large bowl of gazpacho - loads of flavour, maybe a little bit denser than usual - the consistency of salsa. Counter service was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable.

My god. Had I known this place existed I would have made multiple visits. As it happened we were only in the area on our last day. Seemed nice. The guy who was at the counter may have been the friendliest servant we've come across in New York and the sandwich was amazing. Meat was tender and well seasoned and... More

This is a great place to grab a quick and delicious lunch while exploring the market. As always, the more delicious the sandwich, the greater the mess, but it's absolutely worth it :) good value, all things considered.

THE GOOD: Tasty sandwiches THE NOT SO GOOD: More fusion than authentic Vietnamese The sandwiches are very good here, although I was looking for a more authentic Bahn Mi sandwich, if I fancied a good sandwich I probably would come back here but not when I have a craving for an authentic Bahn Mi sandwich.

If you're not familiar with banh mi, this restaurant would probably rate 5 stars. They serve good banh mi packed with meat or whichever topping you choose. But if you're familiar with banh mi, you know that the bread should be crunchy like a baguette. Num Pang uses a soft bread similar to a hoagie roll. It was good, but... More
