Good, upscale fast food

Europa Cafe is similar in concept to a lot of other New York places that have sandwiches, panini, soup, salads, and lots of baked goods. Seating is limited and a lot of people get food to take out, which I did too. There are very good sandwiches and panini that can be served warm -- also a lot... read more

Great, fresh food suitable for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Danish, panini, croissant, fresh fruit, granola and lots of good drinks. I really liked the queue up, pay and sit down straightforward approach, no frills but very clean and delicious food. Very good option if your breakfast is not included in your city break. We loved it!

We wanted to grab a quick bite before hitting the subway. My husband's hot chocolate was very good, as was his bagel. My coffee was excellent as was the marble yogurt loaf. Quick service and now we are on our way. Worth the stop.

There are all sorts of breakfast and lunch options around Times Square, but this is one of the best. If you're with a group, there's something for everyone. The staff is operating at kinetic pace, busy making sandwiches, coffee and salads. Good place to start any long day of touring New York City.

Nice Vegetarian stop, salads, real pulpy juice, soups, make it on the spot meals, gyros, sandwiches, whole wheat pasta. A great stop in between the hustle and bustle in the city. To ease the stress and relax the mind, take it slow and enjoy the meal, while still looking through glass panes and taking in the big screens. Well, I... More

This place is really good if you need a good meal during your lunch break or a coffee and pastry in the morning before work, but not somewhere to sit and enjoy like other cafes. It was super crowded and the line for the bathroom was taking up the whole place. The bathroom is gross. I got a tea and... More

Just OK. Good selection of food, but the décor and seating is rather uncomfortable. Stopped for a coffee pick me up and didn't quite have the appeal we wanted.

Popped in for a sandwich and a quick drink around lunch time as I'm sure many people do. Service was quick and sandwiches were real tasty - quite crammed in when busy but overall can't really fault it for a quick eat.

My wife and I made a quick stop here for breakfast. The line moved quickly. The staff was friendly and the food was acceptable. There was adequate seating and it wasn't packed despite being, essentially, in the heart of Times Square. My wife needed to use the restroom but didn't because she said it was disgusting, there was no toilet... More

We were wandering around looking for a good lunch place. This cafe was great for us - it had a good variety of items and everything we had was very good! Will eat lunch here on our next trip for sure!

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
